Rondo (Chapter Twenty-One: Gluttony)

"Wait..." Eri murmured rigorously. "What is it Eri?" Ai growled, her face buried in Eri's shoulder. "Why are you toying with me?" "Eh?" Ai ogled Eri, whose facial expression was emotionless. "I'm not as slow as you think I am Ai," Eri explained. "Why did you come here?"

Ai's eyes darkened. Her lips were taut and slightly pale. Her grip on Eri's shoulders tightened, Eri's eyes widening in response to the sudden touch. "What did I just say Eri? I'm hungry." Ai replied, focusing on Eri's neck. "Also, you taste delicious." Eri stiffened as Ai bared her fangs again.

"Let go of me Ai." Eri demanded, her hands grabbing Ai's wrists. She was unable to jerk Ai's hands off of her shoulders, which made Ai chuckle. "You're silly Eri," she whispered. "A simple demand won't stop me from sucking your blood."

"Then what will?" Eri asked, squirming. "Nothing will stop me from hunger Eri." Eri's body grew fragile once Ai's fangs were in contact with her neck. However, an aggressive tug pulled Eri and Ai apart.

Eri landed on the wet and murky pavement, only to find someone grunting underneath her. She quickly stood up and turned around to see one of Ai's trainers.

"Ah, sorry about that." Eri helped the shorter trainer by offering her hand. The other thanked her. "You should watch Ai more often, she's different." "I know what you mean..." The trainer observed a scene between Ai and her other trainer arguing. "Reina! Let's go!" she shouted, waving her hand repeatedly. "Pretend like you don't remember this okay?" Reina warned, running towards the trainer. "Okay." Eri replied hesitantly, grabbing her purse and finding her keys.

She entered the house, thankful her parents weren't home to hear (or see) the chaotic event outside. She went upstairs (along with her shopping bags), and entered her room. "Maybe I should try on that necklace," Eri fumbled through the bags and found the necklace, putting it on. "Ah, it looks nice!" Eri took off the accessory.

A strange sound blared, scaring the turtle. She dropped the accessory, which fell with a loud clang on the floor. Eri picked it up, and placed on her dresser.

"Eri," An enigmatic girl sat on Eri's bed, grinning devilishly. "Where did you come from?" Eri questioned nervously.

The girl walked over to her main target, tucking a lock of hair behind Eri's ear.

"You don't need to know Eri, it's clearly none of your business." The girl replied sternly.

Eri's vision went black, and the last thing she could hear was her scream due to a painful bite.

Koharu patrolled the park like a watchdog. She had fully developed her tracker demon abilities, which left JunJun worried and Aika amused.

"Should we get her checked out?" Aika asked in a teasing tone. JunJun crossed her arms, perusing the newly transformed tracker demon. "Hmph." she grunted, shrugging her shoulders.

"Hmph?" Aika waved her hand in front of her trainer's face. "That's all you can say?" "I don't trust her." JunJun replied. "Then how about I talk to her?" Aika suggested. "No." JunJun demanded.

"Why not?" Aika whined, crossing her arms and pouting. "Fine go talk to her," JunJun rolled her eyes. "Just don't blame me when she calls you a mean name."

"What was that?" Aika stared at JunJun. "Nothing, just talk to her." JunJun continued focusing on the cluster of buildings.

Until she noticed someone walking towards her.
**************************************************************************************************
"Koharu?"

Koharu turned around, meeting Aika's gaze. "Hi." She immediately went back to her duty. Confused, Aika decided to use some of her tricks to get Koharu's attention.

"So, what are you doing? You've been acting like a watchdog for the past hour." Koharu ogled Aika, sighing. "I'm searching for Sayumi," she explained. "She tends to come here a lot, so that's why I'm...'on patrol'. Do you understand my point, Mittsi?"

"Mittsi?" Aika cringed at the new nickname she received from Koharu. She despised nicknames from the start, which was why everyone called her "Aika" or "Mitsui". No one ever called her "Mittsi".

"You don't like it?" Koharu was meticulous. "It's okay if you dislike it, it just slipped-" "No, you can call me that, but only you can use it a nickname. Don't use it around JunJun."

"Okay." Koharu smiled, revealing her fangs. Aika was about to speak, but she didn't say anything.

"We should search for Sayumi in a different area, shall we?" Aika asked instead. "Yeah, this is a pretty bland area." Koharu scratched her head. "Alright then, Jun...Jun?"

Aika couldn't spot her trainer. "Let's look for her-" "No, leave her alone, she's probably over at someone's house right now."

The comment left Koharu confused, but she shrugged her shoulders and sat on the bench along with Aika, and they both stared at the full moon together.

Rondo (Chapter Twenty: Addiction)

"Lin? Is something bothering you?" LinLin's father asked politely. He has never seen his daughter pensive. LinLin didn't respond to his question, still staring into space. Koharu hasn't called her in a while, and she was beginning to worry.

"Nothing Father, it's nothing." LinLin replied quietly. "I think I need some air." She left quickly, suddenly finding herself standing outside her house as the light blue sky was about to fade into a shade of gold, purple, and orange hues in the sky.

Around the area LinLin lived in, a swarm of people would discuss about recent occurances in the streets, eat at the resturants, play video games, and many more events. However, when the sky grew hazy and the moon would shine, odd things would happen in the night. Since it was sunset, it was unusual to see the town engulfed with silence.

Whirr....

A strong breeze sent chills down LinLin's spine. She stopped in her tracks, looking around the street. "Oh well, false alarm." she mumbled. Ever since her encounter with JunJun last night, all she could think about was her. Why was she having these feelings now?

Whirr...

"What's going on?" LinLin blurted as she heard the vexatious noise, still pausing in her tracks. There was no response, a whistling breeze could only answer LinLin's question.

"Qian Lin." A voice called into the distance, a powerful current absorbed LinLin. She squeezed her eyes shut, receiving a headache due to her name being repeated.

"WHAT?" She shouted, her hands covered her ears. A loud cackle erupted from the voice. “Do you seriously think that’s going to work?” LinLin’s face flushed a light pink color. She didn’t know how to respond. “Who are you?”

“That’s not important.” The voice retorted, another gust of wind surrounded the struggling girl. LinLin gulped slightly.

“Haha, I love antagonizing you and that vampire friend of yours.” LinLin’s eyes expanded. “Jun…Jun?” “Yeah JunJun, whatever her name is…” The voice scoffed.

“You sound so-“Familiar?” The voice sighed. “Yes, aren’t you-“Sayumi? The voice, now a girl, appeared in front of LinLin, grinning devilishly. “You’re correct.” “Aren’t you supposed to be with-“ “Koharu?” Sayumi crossed her arms.

“KOHARU! What’s wrong with her? Where is she?” LinLin panicked. “She’s not important anymore…I took care of her.” LinLin’s heart was thumping inside her chest. However, LinLin’s emotions revolved from worry to anger. “What did you do to Koharu?”

“Listen, you’re not ready to understand this situation.” Sayumi replied strictly. “Why not?” Sayumi tried to come up with an explanation. “You…just…won’t.” Sayumi stepped closer. LinLin stepped backward, puzzled. From all the descriptions and stories Koharu mentioned about her mentor…LinLin was shocked by Sayumi’s actions. She seemed so different. She then remembered Sayumi’s statement.

“Tell me what you told JunJun.” LinLin demanded. “No.” Sayumi stated. “Tell me what you did to them,” LinLin spoke in a calm and stern tone. “It doesn’t matter if I’m human." "What did I tell you before? No." "Tell me, please." LinLin almost sounded desperate.

"That's does it, I can't resist anymore." LinLin didn't realize the sky turned into a dark, hazy color. The moon shined on Sayumi's face, which was a pale color and beady eyes. She bared her fangs, chuckling afterwards. LinLin was stunned; she couldn't move due to Sayumi squeezing her shoulders tightly.

"Koharu was my first target, now you're next." Sayumi whispered before her fangs were about to sink into LinLin's flesh. LinLin closed her eyes in fear, but when she opened them, Sayumi disappeared like lightning. LinLin looked around the area; she was confused.

Thud.

"I knew you were going to do something bad to her." JunJun pinned Sayumi against the brick wall. "I wasn't going to do anything bad." Sayumi groaned in defeat.

Thud.

"I just saw you! Don't think I'm stupid! Then again, all you tracker demons think that vampires and humans are naive and dumb." Sayumi stared at JunJun blankly. "Ugh, never mind," JunJun shook her head angrily. "Now thell me the truth, were you about to turn LinLin into a tracker demon?" "Yes, I was going to turn her into one of them, but your crazy lecture isn't going to stop me." Sayumi confessed.

'So Koharu was Sayumi's first target, and I was going to be next? What is a tracker demon anyway? Koharu...'

"Don't touch her, don't bite her, don't do anything to her," JunJun released her grip on Sayumi, trembling afterwards. "If I see you harm LinLin again, you're dead meat." Sayumi paused before replying, "I don't think I can keep that promise."

'I hate her...'

"You make me sick Sayumi." LinLin blurted unintentionally, covering her mouth quickly. "Go home LinLin." JunJun directed, still keeping an eye on Sayumi. "But what about Koharu?" "Koharu's going to be fine, okay?" JunJun gulped. She had never seen LinLin so upset before. "That's not true!" JunJun hugged LinLin, who was sobbing in her arms. "Let it all out." JunJun still didn't take her eyes off of Sayumi, who was about to escape. "Go home okay? I'll take care of Sayumi." "Okay...bye JunJun." LinLin wiped her tears, walking home. She had too much to think about the eventful eventful evening.

Diverting her attention back to Sayumi, JunJun realized that she escaped once again. "Damn, she's gone again." she muttered under her breath. She thought about LinLin, making a mental note to herself. "I hope she's alright, I must check on her in the morning." JunJun sighed before leaving the silent streets.
**************************************************************************************************
"I want to go home..." Koharu whined, crossing her arms and pouting. Aika had been listening to her whine for a while, but she couldn't help but laugh whenever Koharu pouted. She cleared her throat replying, "How many times do I have to tell you? We have to keep you here for a while." "You never told me the reason why."

"Sayumi bit you, something's wrong with you...what do you expect?" Aika was ready to hear more of Koharu's whining, but she didn't hear anything. Aika still remained quiet.

'Why is she so melancholy?'

"Koharu?"

Aika almost jumped the moment she saw Koharu. Her eyes were twitching, transforming into beady orbs. Her teeth elongated, which revealed her fangs. Finally, her breathing stopped, and she was quietly.

"Koharu?" Aika called softly, inching closer to her. Koharu was breathing normally, but she was stiff. "Look at me Koharu." Aika whispered, scrunching her eyebrows.

"What just happened to me?" Koharu asked calmly. "You just..." "It's Sayumi, she turned me into this," Koharu pulled on her jacket. "I'm hideous." "What are you talking about Koharu, you're beautiful." Aika disagreed, smirking. "It's still her fault." Koharu mumbled angrily. "You didn't know she was going to attack you. Don't be shy, come here." Koharu moved closer to Aika, looking at her curiously. "What?" Aika asked, making an odd facial expression. "Nothing, nothing at all." Koharu blushed, diverting her attention away from Aika.

'Hmm...maybe this plan will work...' Aika giggled at the thought, noticing Koharu's blushing face.

"What's wrong Koharu? Are you scared?" Koharu gaped at Aika. "I'm not scared! I'm just shocked that I look so-" Aika put her finger over Koharu's lips, causing her to be calm.

"There's no need to yell, I'm right here." Aika whispered huskily before removing her finger from Koharu's lips. "Uh, s-sorry." Koharu squeaked in response. Aika chuckled, "You're hilarious Koharu." Koharu froze, whispering, "T-Thanks."

"Aika! Koharu!" JunJun called, not too far away from the two. "Yes?" Aika got up from the bench, about to walk towards her. Koharu grabbed her hand at the last minute. "Get up, JunJun's not going to harm you."

'But I bet she tried her best not to hurt Sayumi...'

"Aika! Let go of her!" JunJun pried their hands apart. "Relax JunJun, she's harmless." "That's because," JunJun lowered her voice to a whisper. "She just transformed. She's powerful as the time goes by."

"You do realize I can still hear you right?" Koharu titled her head and giggled. "Okay, you're right, but what are we going to do with her?" Aika knew Koharu was one of the "good' tracker demons, but will she transform into a "bad" tracker demon later? She certainly hoped not; she was beginning to like Koharu.

"I don't know." JunJun responded. "I'm too angry at Sayumi." "What happened?" Koharu butted in, raising an eyebrow. "Sayumi tried to make LinLin end up like Koharu, but I stopped her," JunJun sighed. "She's worried about you Koharu, but I told her you were fine."

"I can't believe Sayumi would still do this to me. She's a vampire isn't she?" "No Koharu, she's even worse." "So, she's one of the tracker demons?" Koharu asked. "Yes, she's a tracker demon Koharu." "Too bad I can't do anything to stop her." "Then I can stop her." Aika offered eagerly." "No Aika, you're too young." "I have a solution." Koharu stated. "What is it Koharu?" Aika asked, still eager.

"I can stop Sayumi myself."
**************************************************************************************************
"AH! I'm so late!" Eri had four bags filled with the shopping items she bought. She tried to get the keys from her purse as she got to her house. However, since her purse was a mess, she couldn't find the keys. "I think I misplaced them again." She looked up again, only to see her best friend in front of her. "Ai-chan, I didn't notice you were here...."

Ai was trembling, breathing heavily. "Ai-chan? Are you alright?"

"I'm cold..." Ai responded in a childish voice. "But it's warm outside, but it will be okay Ai-chan." Eri dropped her belongings and gave Ai a quick hug. It was something she and Ai would do whenever they were in a cold atmosphere.

"Eri," Ai finally spoke, her breath vibrating against Ai's neck. "I'm hungry..." "Hungry?" Eri tried to pull away, but Ai's grip was tight. "Your blood is so rich, I want to taste it again." Ai bared her fangs.

Eri could only shake under her touch.

Rondo (Chapter Nineteen: Decode)

"Damn it..." JunJun muttered, looking around the cluster of buildings that crowded her. Anger was boiling in her blood as she balled her fists, pouding them against the coarse and slippery road. "I cannot find her." JunJun slammed her fist again, but it met with a cool splash that suddenly came in contact with her clothes and her face.

JunJun stood up, trudging down the street, eyes wandering around the area as she picked up her pace. Thoughts of the enigmatic Sayumi clouded her mind. Why did she bite Koharu? Why would she harm her? Where is she?

"There you are," Words dripped with acidity when a dark voice spoke from behind. "You are JunJun I presume?" JunJun turned around, her eyes meeting the severe orbs of an obsidian hair-colored girl.

"Yes, my name is JunJun," the slightly flustered vampire replied, still making eye contact. "And you must be Sayumi I assume." Before the other girl could open her mouth and make conversation, JunJun asked,

"How the hell did you know my name?"

"Sayumi" cackled haughtily, shaking her head afterwards. "I've seen you with your trainee, Aika before." Sayumi winked after her explanation.

'So she has been stalking us?' JunJun was about to burst with fury, but she kept her composure.

"I also saw the both of you with Koharu-" "And?" JunJun interrupted, her nails ripping into the palm of her hands. "And I want you to say away from her." JunJun's orbs expanded in size.

'What the hell does she mean?'

"Why?" JunJun questioned, not a hint of hesitation dominated her voice. She streched her hands, which were numb. "I bit her of course." Sayumi chuckled in response.

"Interesting, but why did you bite her?" "Because," Sayumi tried to think of a reasonable answer. "I wanted her to transform into someone." "Like who?" JunJun narrowed her eyes, her hands balling up into fists again.

"You will see soon." Sayumi's words were poisonous, which made the vampire even more furious, yet curious at the same time. "Noticing that she was spacing out, JunJun closed and opened her eyes, coming to the quick realization that Sayumi disappeared. "Damn it." JunJun cursed again, suddenly followed by a sigh.

Continuing her trudging down the street, JunJun thought about Sayumi's last statement:

"You will see soon..."

JunJun knew it would have been impossible for Koharu to become a vampire, or could it be possible? She suddenly remembered when she was a trainee about the teachings of the tracker demon:

'Tracker demons are dangerous to the vampire and the human clan. The demons want to devour their blood so that the vampire clan can become fragile by the second."

JunJun shook her head at the memory. "Crap, that's not the right one." She mumbled angrily. Then she remembered something else:

'Tracker demons can also bite, but their targets are humans. Not only do they devour their blood, there's a chance that the unconscious human can become a tracker demon in minutes.'

JunJun was frightened once she remembered that. Sayumi's cackling laugh replayed in her mind repeatedly.

'No...no, Koharu's not a....she can't be a...'

"Damn it."

Rondo (Chapter Eighteen: Eerie)

Chapter Eighteen: Eerie
*************************************************************************************
A shrill scream echoed in the empty streets. Crows started cawing and flapping their wings from the trees above. The wind whistled, sending a cool and chilly breeze. There was a dead silence except for the particular scream. Chills ran down Aika's spine, the trainee sensing a strange prescence. "What was that?" She questioned immediately, looking at JunJun curiously. Her trainer didn't reply; she was too focused on something else. Aika sighed profoundly, shaking her head. "Are you going to respond?" she muttered angrily, her nails ripping into the palm of her hands as she heard the piercing scream once again. JunJun didn't speak a single word.

What's going on in her mind right now? Can't she hear the scream?

As if she had read Aika's mind, JunJun walked towards the trainee and whispered, "It's nothing, I'm curious about the scream." Aika didn't react, racing down the sidewalk. JunJun was following her trail. "Where are we going?" she asked, her voice wavering. "To the park, the scream came from there." Aika replied, stopping in her tracks. "Oh...hey, why did you stop?" "We're here." Aika's eyes widened at the scene. A girl with bite marks on the side of her neck was unconsious on a bench. Her jacket was blood-stained. Aika immediately walked over to the girl, shaking her slowly. "What are you doing?" JunJun questioned. "Always have to ask questions don't you?" Aika rolled her eyes. The girl started jerking; she was slowly opening her eyes.

She winced in pain, grabbing the side of her neck. "S-Sayumi...." Her eyes darkened at the name. "She...bit me." The girl looked at Aika, then at JunJun. "Vampires..." She observed, standing up weakly. "Sayumi...is a vampire, just like you." Aika was dumbfounded. "I'll find her, I have an odd feeling that she isn't a vampire." JunJun ran off in a different direction. "What is your name?" Aika tried to make conversation. "Kusumi Koharu," the girl replied. "And you?" "Aika, Mitsui Aika. It's nice to meet you Koharu."

If this...Sayumi is not a vampire, then she must be rare...it's impossible for her to become a tracker demon, right?
**************************************************************************************************
Reina entered Ai's bedroom through the window. "Good, there are no curtains." Reina chuckled. "What did you get?" Risa questioned blatantly. Reina gulped. She knew the Reaction Queen would burst at any minute. "Yossie and Miki are too busy, but I did speak with Maki, and-" "And?" "She's getting a tracker demon vibe."

"There's nothing we can do about it, huh?" Risa whispered in a low tone. "Well, not right now..." Reina shrugged her shoulders. "Her eyes are going to turn black any minute," Risa panicked. "She's not even fully possessed! I don't want her to be this way Reina!"

Here she goes....

"I'm digging up more information Risa." Reina grabbed Risa's shoulders, shaking her. After a few minutes, Risa was finally calmed. "Oh, well why didn't you say so?" Reina sighed, sitting in a chair. "You went into Reaction Queen moment Risa right after I announced the news." "Oh...HEY!"

"Will you guys quit?" Ai stood up from her bed, walking over to the window. It took a while for the exhausted Reina to realize what Ai was about to do. "Um...." "Um?" Ai opened the window. "Where do you think you're going?" Risa butted in, her voice wavering.

"Where do you think I'm going?" Ai snickered, smirking. "You're going for a walk." Reina guessed sarcastically, knowing the answer was going to be different. "Correct, but what for?" Reina made a facepalm gesture.

She has got to be kidding me...

"It doesn't matter, you're still not going out of our sight." Risa grabbed Ai's arm, but Ai pushed it away. "That's where you're wrong." "Then what are you going to do Ai?" Reina gripped the arm of the chair with her fingernails. Ai chuckled, shivers running down Reina's spine.

"Silly Reina, I'm going on a little hunt." Ai replied before jumping out of the window.

Rondo (Chapter Seventeen: Surge)

Reina was short of breath when she entered the building. She was about to go to the front desk, but then a certain someone made Reina stop in her tracks. Maki was speaking with Yossie and Miki, explaning all the information that was important.

"Yes, I'll speak to Reina about it." Maki closed the conversation by heading outside. Reina followed her, grinning. At least she didn't have to stay in that building anymore. "Oh, hi Reina." Maki greeted, her back still facing Reina. Her voice sounded kind of...monotone. "Hi, what did you want to talk to me about?" Reina raised her eyebrow, causing the older to turn around and stare at her blankly. It took Maki a moment to recap what happened.

"How's Ai?" Reina couldn't believe that Maki would ask such a thing, but she understood the reason. "I think she has a glitch." She replied nervously, her hands shaking a little. "So that's why she's been fragile." Maki murmured. "What do you mean Maki?" Reina was anxious, her brown orbs were filled with fright.

"That glitch can send odd signals," Maki explained. "It's a rare one though, I found this out while seeking for tracker demons the other day." "So I was right." Reina whispered, a little puzzled. "What are you talking about Reina?" Maki looked at Reina with a puzzled expression. "Well, when Eri was possessed," Reina confessed. "I knew that this won't be the last time it would come back."

"It's probably because Ai had to kill it, I'm sure she will be fine." Maki put her arm around Reina. "I don't know Maki, she was very...different." Reina was unsure. "Talk to Yossie and Miki about it later. They're busy at the moment, they might know what you're talking about." Maki suggested. "Now, I have to look up this report about another demon attack, bye!" Maki went back inside the building before Reina could say anything.

"I guess I'll come back later." Reina muttered, wondering how the Reaction Queen would handle the news.
**************************************************************************************************
"Oh crap," Koharu repeated, darting down the sidewalk to get to the park. Passerbys stopped and turned to look at the sprinting girl. "I shouldn't have watched LinLin's entire collection of that anime!" She that Sayumi wouldn't be happy, but she would forgive Koharu.

Huffing and puffing heavily, Koharu decided to take a break. She looked around and noticed Sayumi sitting on the bench, the air rustling her raven-colored hair. Koharu closed her eyes and opened them again before sitting next to her.

"Koharu..." Sayumi murmured. "You are late." She was very calm about Koharu's tardiness, a small smiled emerged from her lips. Koharu felt the urge to kiss those light pink lips. "I'm sorry Sayu-" "But I'm glad you're here now." Sayumi interrupted, still calm. Koharu was flabbergasted by Sayumi's voice change; she was suspicious.

"What's wrong Sayu? Are you okay?" Koharu questioned timorously. "No." A light chuckle escaped Sayumi's lips, her eyes turning beady at the sudden gesture. Stunned, Koharu's hand was placed on Sayumi's shoulder. "Ah!" She shouted, noticing Sayumi's skin turning pale. "S-Sayumi, you're pale." She squeaked, her eyes expanding in shock. "Yes, I know." Sayumi faced Koharu, placing her hands on her shoulders.

"Sayu, what are you-" "Don't ask questions." Sayumi demanded, smiling devilishly. Koharu held all her questions in her mind. Sayumi's lips inched closer to her neck, her fangs were revealed.

Koharu screamed loudly, an echo piercing into the sky.

Rondo (Chapter Sixteen: Rush)

Ai felt weak all over. Her knees were buckling and she had to hold onto Risa for support. Of course she would be a little frail, but not like this. All of a sudden, a surge ran through Ai's body, her eyes turning dark. She ogled her trainer, who was flabbergasted and bewildered by the sudden change.

"Oh...crap." Reina muttered, gaping at her trainee. Her eyes expanded in size as she tried to swallow down the lump in her throat. "Ai-chan, are you okay?" Risa finally questioned the transformed girl. The shorter girl quickly nodded her head in reply, "Ah, yes, now let's get this thing over with." She pulled away from Risa and walked down the sidewalk, leaving the two trainers in shock.

"What the heck just happened right now?" Risa whispered to Reina, confused at what just happened. Reina was too busy observing the weaker trainee. Her lips were taut and pale, her eyes narrowing. "I don't know, she must have gotten those demon vibes, I have to ask Maki about this." She followed Ai, who was already walking faster than normal. Risa scrunched her eyebrows in confusion, tilting her head in response.

Ai, on the other hand, seemed like she was weaving in and out of her current strong and weak state. It was like she was repeatedly having a glitch. She felt like she could sense something strange, something that could be dangerous. Reina now understood what was happening, nodding her head. "What? What's wrong with her Reina?" Risa asked, trying to be as calm as possible.

"I...I'm not sure, she's having some sort of glitch I suppose." Reina replied, being shaken by the Reaction Queen. "WHAT? We need to go help her." Risa ran over to Ai, who was now kneeling and panting heavily. Reina also ran over to help Ai up, but Ai didn't budge. "Eh? Ai-chan, are you okay?"

"I-I am fine." Ai muttered, slowly getting up. "Let's go." She murmured darkly, looking for a target. "How about....him then?" Reina pointed to a guy leaning on a pillar and staring off into space. "Nope, give me a harder one." "Oh, just do it, he's not doing anything." Reina rolled her eyes. Risa could see a glint in Ai's dark brown orbs. Something was definitely wrong.

"Fine." A smirk played on Ai's lips as she walked over to the spacey man. "Did she just-" "I really need to talk to Maki about this." Reina interrupted, her eyes following after Ai's every move. "You didn't even give me a chance to-" "Oh yes, it's a demon glitch alright." "Demon glitch?" Risa was still puzzled at everything.

The man cried, unconscious. "Humans." Ai snickered, licking her lips. "Are you sure you're alright Ai?" Reina questioned, noticing that her eyes were completely dark. Risa was almost afraid to touch her. Then, she returned to normal, shaking her head. "I thought I told you guys I was fine." Ai put her arms around her head.

"Risa, take Ai home." Reina was sure to give out instructions before heading to the abandoned building. Risa nodded furiously, walking over to Ai. "It looks like she's alright." Reina noted, heading over to the hideout to find Maki.
**************************************************************************************************
"Where's Koharu?" Sayumi asked to nobody in particular. She was sitting at the park bench alone. Even though it was 2:30 PM, Sayumi wanted to be there earlier so her mentee wouldn't have thought that she was late. Sayumi took out her phone to call her, but she put it back in her purse. "I don't need to worry about her, she will come." Sayumi closed her eyes until she heard something buzz past her.

"BEE?" Sayumi shouted randomly, looking around the park. The other people stared at her with an odd look on their faces, some had their eyebrows scrunched together, others looked puzzled. "What? Haven't you seen a girl shout 'bee' before?" Sayumi rolled her eyes and went back to closing them.

Michishige......

"What the?" Sayumi was now internally panicking. "Who-who is it?" She whispered with a tremor in her voice.

Michishige...

"What?!?" Sayumi blinked, and a shadow appeared in front of her. She was shocked at the image that had appeared in front of her. That wasn't Koharu!

Michishige....

Before Sayumi could say anything, everything turned black.

Tear Drops (SNSD Fanfic Chapter One: Misery)

Rain poured outside the window, making a "pitter-patter" sound against the windowpane. Thunder boomed in the distance, letting out a little roll. A streak of lightning emerged in the scene, the white strip breaking into the foggy purple hue. Dark clouds formed in the sky, giving everyone below a warning that the thunderstorm was going to be much worse.

Lee Sunny sighed, already prepared with her flashlight and her pillow in hand. She wanted her Taeyeon, but she was already with Tiffany, her best friend. Sunny gripped at the pillow, her eyes blazing at the thunderous scene outside. "Tiffany..." she muttered under her breath, another erupt of thunder rolled into the scene. Tears fell from her dark brown orbs, landing on the soft and comfortable pillow.

It was time for the little bunny to cry, she was scared and nervous. Her lips were trembling and tingling, and Sunny put her hand over her mouth to try not to scream. Her phone started ringing, Sunny's eyes expanding in response as she ran over to the phone that lie peacefully on her bed. Quickly flipping open the phone, Sunny noticed that the message was from Taeyeon:

Sunny~

Are you scared over there? Do you need me to come get you?

As a matter of fact, I'll come over there now.

Taeyeon

A small smile had appeared on Sunny's lips. She held the pillow to her body, closing her eyes. The bunny had feelings for Taeyeon, and she was jealous that she hangs out with Tiffany. Under Sunny's dark brown orbs, they would be filled with sweetness, but when it came to Tiffany, they would be filled with rage.

Repetitive knocking was heard from far away, and Sunny immediately opened the door. "Sunny!" The dorky leader greeted the bunny, closing her umbrella and hugging her. "Taeyeon!" Sunny hugged her tighter. The two hugged for a long time until Sunny finally let go. The roll of thunder had faded away, lightning didn't appear for a while, but the rain was still pouring.

"You can let me go now," Taeyeon went to her usual spot on Sunny's couch. "I have to tell you some great news." Sunny's eyes lit up, sitting next to Taeyeon. "I have something to say too." Sunny hesitantly spoke, looking down at her thumbs. "Tiffany and I..." Taeyeon paused. Sunny could tell that this wasn't going to be good news for her. "Tiffany and I are together Sunny, isn't that awesome!" The dorky leader shouted excitedly. "Yeah, I guess so." Sunny replied, letting out a nervous giggle.

"So what was it you wanted to tell me?" Taeyeon looked at the bunny questioningly. Words pondered in Sunny's mind, she couldn't confess to her now. "It's nothing." Sunny replied, her orbs turning into sadness. Silence filled the air for a moment, the rain seemed to calm down and the skies were clear. "The rain has cleared up, I have to go, I'll see you tomorrow okay?" Taeyeon smiled cheerfully, grabbed her umbrella, and walked to the door. Sunny followed, gingerly opening the door and waved goodbye, closing the door after Taeyeon exited her house.

Sunny could feel her heart breaking like glass shattering all over the floor.

Oyasumi #20

Koharu was amped. She didn't like being alone sitting on a bench doing nothing at the park. She wanted to work, or at least socialize with somebody. "Where's Sayumi?" Koharu grunted under her breath, scanning the park for her former mentor. She would bother Sayumi at times, and it was fun messing with her, and most of the time she would have been at the park by now.

"What was that about?" A familiar voice came from nowhere. Koharu shuddered and turned around. She was face to face with a girl who had the same personality as her. "Oh, LinLin." Koharu blushed, the heat increasing in her cheeks. She was puzzled as to why she felt this way, but there was something about LinLin that she adored. "So, why are you sitting here? Normally, you would want to do work!" It was true, Koharu did want to work most of the time.

"I have nothing else to do." Koharu replied, swallowing. "Oh come on Koharu, tell me what's going on with you!" LinLin put her hand on Koharu's shoulder, making her blush even more. "You sure are hyper aren't you?" Koharu knew it was a stupid question to ask, especially to LinLin. "You're the same way." LinLin giggled, pointing to the younger. "Yes, yes, I know." Koharu waved her hand, mentally trying to calm herself.

"Koharu," LinLin looked down, slowly inching closer to Koharu. Weird questions suddenly popped in her mind like fireworks, but she didn't know which ones to ask Koharu. "Is there something on your mind?" Koharu was jolted out of her senses. She didn't know that LinLin would ask such a thing. "Well...yeah..." She replied hesitantly.

Moving all the way closer until she was beside Koharu's side, LinLin put her head on Koharu's shoulder. Confused at the sudden gesture, Koharu's face was now crimson. "Hmm..I have another question," LinLin's words were muffled, but Koharu could understand what she was questioning. "You like me."

"That wasn't a question, that was more like a statement!" A surge ran through Koharu's body as she jumped up from the bench. "Aha, so you do like me." LinLin grinned, pointing a finger to the younger. "H-How did you know?" Koharu gulped, but LinLin started laughing. Koharu was puzzled and asked, "What's so funny?"

"Oh, Koharu, you're so easy to read underneath your funny and sweet exterior." LinLin replied. "So...what does that mean? Do you like me too? What?" Koharu was probably asking a billion questions, but she wanted to know how LinLin would respond.

"Yes, Koharu...I like you a lot." Koharu didn't know what she was doing after that. All that happened was when Koharu gave LinLin a light kiss on the lips. However, LinLin returned the kiss, except this time, it was much longer.

It was getting a little late, and Koharu needed to be home by 9 PM. "I need to go, I'll see you tomorrow okay LinLin?" "Alright, bye Koharu."

'Am I really that easy to read?' Koharu thought to herself when she opened the door to her house.

Oyasumi #19

It was unusual to see Tsugunaga Momoko pissed. Normally, the second oldest girl of Berryz Koubou would be full of energy and hyper. But Momoko was opposite today. Glaring at the pink cellphone decorated with peach stickers, she perused through her contacts. She had all the Berryz's phone numbers, Morning Musume's phone numbers, she even had C-ute's phone numbers, but there was something that was missing. Somebody that made Momoko even more pissed just thinking about it.

Her name was Ishimura Maiha.

Momoko's palms grew sweaty due to gripping the bar tightly. Receiving weird reactions from the people in the train, Momoko pulled the brim of her hat over her eyes. Identity was very important in the idol world. She was very popular, so she must be hidden. But Momoko wasn't worried about that, she was worried about Maiha. She was wondering how she was doing in school, did she get good grades? Momoko was curious.

The train halted to a stop, Momoko was almost jerked out of her seat, she held onto her hat, but her phone slipped from her right hand. Noticing that the phone was gone, Momoko was internally panicking. As she stood up from her seat and searching for the misplaced phone, Momoko felt a tap on her shoulder. "Um...is this cellphone your's?" Momoko quickly sat back down in her seat as the train doors closed, and it headed to the next stop. She took the phone, but she didn't look up.

The other girl couldn't believe the girl's appearance. She felt like she had seen her somewhere before when she was in Berryz Koubou. She had always been her friend, helping her with her dance moves and even more. She had the urge to ask this girl about her identity, to see her Berryz Koubou friend and bandmate once again.

"Are you.."-the girl lowered her voice as she reached for Momoko's hand. "Tsugunaga Momoko?" Momoko gulped, sliding her phone in her purse. "Yes." she muttered back. A smile had appeared on the girl's lips, her dimples were showing. Momoko's eyes grew big at the girl's facial expression. "Maiha?" The train stopped again, and the two stood up to get off at their stop.

"I missed you!" The energetic Momoko shouted, tears emerging from her dark brown orbs. "I missed you too." Maiha cooed in her ear, hugging her. Shivers went down Momoko's spine in response. The two girls giggled as they stopped hugging, but then they were serious.

"I'm sorry I left, if my father hadn't interfered, I would still be here." Maiha forced a smile, but it didn't seem to work. "It's okay Maiha, I'm just glad to see you again," Momoko patted Maiha's shoulder. "I can't wait to tell the other Berryz about this." Momoko was about to reach for her cellphone, but Maiha grabbed her wrist. "I only wanted to see you." Momoko's cheeks were stained a peachy color. Maiha took Momoko's hands and squeezed them tightly.

Momoko didn't know what to do next, she couldn't speak. "I-I was..." She was suddenly interrupted with Maiha's lips that were pressed to her own. Thank goodness the two were in a hidden area, or they would be caught. Her lips were soft, Maiha finally pulled away.

Maiha slipped a piece of paper in Momoko's coat pocket. "Read that for me okay? I'll see you later!" She waved goodbye and she left. Momoko opened it, scanning the letter..

Dear Momoko,

Thank you for being there for me. Even when I was down, you were always there to pick me up. I would tell you about what's been going on in my life. You would nod and listen, giving me advice the next time I made the same mistake.

I would never forget those moments. You still remain in my mind and in my heart. Maybe it's because I didn't know I had these feelings for you. But later on while watching TV programs, you kept getting prettier and prettier, and I really did love you. I wanted to confess, but I thought I would never see you again.

I love you Momoko, I want to see you again.

Love,

Maiha

"I love you too Maiha..." Tears flowed down Momoko's cheeks. She wiped them away with her sleeve, pulling down the cap. She looked at the phone number that was at the bottom of the page, and Momoko programmed the number in her cellphone.

"I'm glad you didn't forget me, Maiha." She murmured before heading home.

Akai (Chapter Four: Crimson)

Crimson.

How did the background suddenly change? I thought I was relaxing at my house, with JunJun right beside me. I guess I fell asleep, but how? I put a hand over my eyes to shield the brightness that was coming in my direction. It almost blinded me, making me cover my eyes with my hands. It wasn't bright anymore, it went back to the regular red. "Eh? What the heck happened?" My eyes wandered for a moment. I looked behind me, but I couldn't see anybody. "Hmm..I guess I'm alone then." I shrugged my shoulders, not knowing what to do.

I felt a pair of arms slide around my waist, but for some reason, a smile appeared on my face. I was already familiar to this touch, and her head touched my shoulder. "Hello, Ai-chan." I could feel a blush appear on my cheeks, they were probably rosy. "Hi...JunJun." I replied, my cheeks were blazing now. I turned around, and like lightning, JunJun's lips were glued to mine. I wasn't surprised, since I was already used to it. It was a long time before we could pull away. I was still in her embrace, and we were cuddling.

But then, everything faded...just like that.

I slowly opened my eyes, seeing a certain panda with a blissful and peaceful expression. I looked at the bothersome clock, the shining numbers read 1 PM. I could feel JunJun's hand in mine, her fingers entwining. She woke up, a small smile painted her face. "It's one o' clock," I could feel my voice breaking. "Do you need to go anywhere?" JunJun was still gazing at me, but she shook her head minutes later. "No.." A pink hue stained her cheeks when she looked down.

"Did you have the same dream as me?" My eyes widened at the question before I could understand what she meant. "Yes." I replied, giggling. I had no idea why I was laughing, but JunJun was confused, and she took my other hand. "What's so funny?" "Oh nothing...it's..nothing." I was gazing at her too, trying to think of something else to say. It was still silent before JunJun finally questioned, "Do you have any bananas?" I nodded before JunJun ran out of my bedroom to the kitchen. "Wait!" I shouted a couple of seconds later, a little puzzled.

"Don't we have to talk about it?" I asked, sitting down on the couch. "Oh yes, we're going to talk about it, but I just needed to eat something first before our little discussion. "Alright then." I still looked down, my cheeks were probably crimson. "How did we fall asleep?" "Actually, you went to sleep first." JunJun started laughing, nearly choking on her banana. "Are you okay?" I patted her back. JunJun could only nod in response. "You were like, 'I'm sleepy JunJun, I'm sleepy.' And then, you closed your eyes. Surprisingly, I did the same too." JunJun explained. "Oh wow, um..so this led to that dream, and..." "Here we are now discussing it." JunJun finished the sentence.

"Um..okay, what to say," I twiddled with my thumbs, trying to let the words come out, but I couldn't. "Um...I enjoyed it." "I enjoyed it too." JunJun was about to lean but I heard a ding far away. I guess my phone was still in my room. "I should get that." I got up and went to my room, but the more steps I took, the more I could hear those dings. It made me cringe when I heard them. I know I should be getting used to it, but I still haven't. The tone is bothersome, and I don't like it. The other ringtones suck, so this one will take a while.

I went inside my room, grabbed my phone, and I walked out. I had missed 18 texts, but they were all from Risa this time. I rolled my eyes and sat next to JunJun. "Who was that, Reina?" She sounded like she was having an attitude. "No, that was Risa, my other friend," I replied. "Reina hijacked her phone." JunJun was silent, but she burst into laugher afterwards. "Well, I just got something from Sayu, she says she's lonely now." JunJun sighed. "Then I guess you're leaving?" I asked, standing up. JunJun did the same and I led her to the door. "Yeah, I am." JunJun replied, about to leave.

"Wait a minute..." JunJun wrapped her arms around me and our lips collided once again. She broke away and waved goodbye. I didn't get a chance to wave back because my lips were tingling. My phone dinged for the billionth time, and it was from Risa...more like Reina:

Saru-chan, we're coming over now!

....Now?

Oyasumi #18

Tick...tock...

Tick...tock..

Tick...tock...

Tick...tock...

Michishige Sayumi drummed her fingernails against the desk, making an odd clicking sound in return. Her eyes wandered around the silent, empty, white room. The only that was right in front of her was a desk, a pen, some paper, and the bothersome clock that was placed right next to her. She held the glistening sleek pen, staring at its figure. Narrowing her eyes, she looked down at the blank piece of paper in front of her. Her eyes then darted to the clock.

Tick...tock..

Tick...tock..

Tick...tock...

Tick...tock...

Why was she even here in the first place? She's here in this odd atmosphere, at a desk, pen in hand, and the vexatious clock that had awakened her out of her spacey state. Her drowsy eyes wandered back to the paper and it only told her to do one task:

Write about your feelings Sayumi.

The paper was obviously telling the bunny, no, demanding the bunny, to write about those feelings that she had kept deep down inside, especially in the most important place...her heart. She's never told anyone about the feelings that has been bottled up for a long time. Even though she puts on a smile, and doing her "Usa-chan Peace" sign, she's been all alone on the inside, and she doesn't know why. The started ticking even louder, which meant that Sayumi has to write about it. "Here goes..." A quiet whisper managed to escape from those little red lips.

My feelings...it's been quite a while since I've been keeping them deep down inside. So, like I said just before I started writing this, here we go.

When I was a little girl, I was constantly lonely. Every time I would ask someone if I could play, they would just laugh at me. Then I found pillbugs. I started talking to them, and they wouldn't reply. But I didn't care, because I liked to hold a conversation. Still, I would feel hurt about being lonely and seeing other kids being friends with each other. I never told anyone about those feelings.

Then I met Kamei Eri. She was the new girl in junior high, and I felt like I had the audacity to become friends with her. She was a very shy girl with long, black hair. People would call her "Kame". She would shrug and go back to her seat, not speaking for the rest of the class period. She was even quieter than me, which was unusual. However, there was a bubbly aura around her, and it drew me closer to her. I got to speak with her, and I showed her around the school. We got to know each other, and we have some things in common.

A few months later, another new girl transferred in junior high. Her name was Tanaka Reina. She was known as the "Yankii", but she would deny being called the nickname. But her appearance was like a yankii; the hoodie, jeans, gymshoes, and various accessories proved it. She was officially the "cool girl" in the school. I didn't like her. I hated her. I despised her. She was disgusting me. Eri's drool expression whenever Reina glanced at her would leave me battered and bruised on the inside. On the outside, I kept myself together. But whenever I got home, I broke down immediately.

I didn't know how much I love that girl until now. I was there to defend her when Reina wasn't there with us. I would compliment on the new hairstyles. She's a pretty girl. I love her, I really love her. In fact, I love her so much, I've been wanting to confess to her for a long time. But since my feelings are bottled up, there was no way I could have told her.

She has Reina, the yankii, she doesn't need me.

DING!

The clock startled Sayumi. A tiny squeak emerged, a metal clank hit the hard surface. The door slowly opened, and a taller, younger girl stepped in the white room, a shorter woman right behind her. "Michishige, please take your paper with you, you are dismissed." Confused, Sayumi held on to the light object and left the room. Someone took her in that room. They knew something suspicious was going on with her, and they wanted to find out. Sayumi looked at the paper again, and decided to go back to relaxing at her own home.

Unlocking the door to her house, she knew it would be a mess due to all the pulling, pushing and kicking that resulted as damaging the walls. She locked the door behind her. She felt a surge of anger rush through her body, slamming the piece of paper on the dining room table that had a bunch of scratch marks.

She turned the shower on, steam coming from the curtain. Sayumi didn't care if she was going to burn, she was too upset about the sight of Reina and Eri together. Tears formed in her eyes, but they were still dark. "Reina..." she muttered as she stepped in the shower.

Steam started clouding her eyes, the intense, burning, heat that danced all over her skin. "She doesn't need me anymore." Sayumi started getting dizzy due to the steam. She pressed her hands on the wall for support, but she slowly started to sink as her eyelids had no choice but to close.
************************************************************************
Kamei Eri was walking in the long hallway to Sayumi's apartment, holding the key she gave her. The two had shared an apartment for a while until Reina told her to move in with her. Now all that was shattered. Eri had completely broken up with Reina because she was seeing another girl. Eri's heart ached for a long time, but she was glad that she broke up with her. Because there was special bunny on her mind.

Sayumi...

As Eri unlocked the door, the sound of a shower was running in the bathroom. Puzzled, Eri followed the steam trail to the bathroom, slowly opening the door. Even more steam burst out, Eri covering her eyes in the process. She peeked through the curtain and noticed Sayumi.

"SAYUMI!" Eri shouted, grabbing on to her. She didn't care how hot the water was, it almost stinged her, but she didn't care. She turned the water off, and took her to the living room. "Sayumi, Sayumi, wake up!" Eri couldn't think of anything else to do. "Eri." Sayumi moaned, smiling a little bit. Eri was too shocked, but she helped the bunny go to her bedroom, telling her to put on some clothes.

While she was waiting she looked at the paper on the table. Her eyes widened with ten times more shock that she had before. She recalled all those memories with Sayumi, they were known as "Usa-chan and Kame". The two bonded so well. Eri had a crush on Reina for a long time, and the two eventually started going out in high school. Eri knew Sayumi was acting weird, but she was so oblivious at the time.

Eri had the same feelings for Sayumi when her and Reina's relationship was going downhill. Sayumi comforted her through everything. Why didn't she noticed this before?

"Sayumi, I love you too." Eri said a little too loudly. A certain bunny was right there in the foyer, staring at her. "What?" Eri could tell that Sayumi was now fully awake. "I love you." Eri repeated, running to the puzzled bunny. "You-you do?" Before Eri could answer the question, she quickly kissed Sayumi on the lips.

Sayumi wanted more. She was hungry for those curled lips. She deepened the kiss, showing how much she loved Eri. Eri wasn't really surprised, but now that the two are together, the timing was perfect.

There was just one thing on that sheet that stood out to Eri:

I'll always wait for you to come to me Eri, you know I'm there for you....

Akai (Chapter Three: Secret)

Wow, her house is amazing. It's very big and spacious, if only I could buy a house like this and not be stuck in an apartment with Sayu. I need to find a job, and fast. "You can sit down if you want to." I stopped spacing out, walking to the couch. "Oh, okay. You have nice furniture." I complimented, mentally kicking myself. Why did I say that? "Thank you. Are you hungry? I can make something." And this is the girl who is in my dream? "Sure." I replied, still staring in her direction. "Take your jacket off, it's just us." She thinks I'm nervous? She sounds nervous at the moment.

"I wanted to talk about that dream." I slowly unbuttoned my jacket. Ai just stood there, gazing at me again. "What?" I could feel my cheeks heat up again. "Nothing." Ai took her gaze off of me and opened the refrigderator door and peeked inside. "Hmm..." All I could see was her butt. She's got a nice butt, I can't stop staring at it. Oh god, what am I doing. I quickly went back to unbuttoning my jacket to hide my crimson face. "We can have some tea!" she offered, getting two cups. "I'm fine with that." I took off my jacket and put it beside me.

"So, about that dream, it was strange wasn't it?" Ai asked, carefully walking over to me with the tea and sitting down right next to me on the couch. "Yes, it was strange," I replied, taking a sip from my tea. "I kept having this dream repeatedly and I didn't know why." "Until I met...you." We turned looked at each other, surprised that we said those words at the same time.

Then there was a ding, making the both of us jump at the same time. "That's my phone." She put her tea down on the table and picked it up, once again scanning through all those messages. She made a "tch" sound and put the phone down. "Who was that?" I questioned. "My friend, her name is Reina." Reina? Her friend?!? My eyes narrowed. "Ugh...." I muttered, hoping Ai wouldn't hear me. Unfortunately, she looked up at me, raising an eyebrow. Why does she have to be so cute?

"Did you say something?" She finally asked, tilting her head. "No." I quickly replied, taking another sip of my tea and placed it on the table. "Really? It sounded like you said something." "Nope, nothing at all." Why am I lying? "Okay, I'll buy that story." "What did she say?" Ai stopped messing with her phone. "She's calling me 'Saru-chan'. She wants to know about you, but I'm not telling her." Oh, so that's why. "Then I shouldn't be jealous." I muttered again, this time a little too loudly. Thank goodness she didn't hear me, because she didn't even look up.

It was quiet. Too quiet. The atmosphere in the room was irregular, and I decided to change the subject. "So-" I was suddenly interrupted with a vibration in my pants pocket. I rolled my eyes and sighed, flipping open the vexatious device. (also known as my phone.) It was a text message from Sayu. Seriously, what's up with all these text messages?

Where are you?!?!

I decided to ignore the message, putting the device back in my pocket. Ai let out a nervous chuckle. "Sayumi, she's my roommate." I replied blatantly. "What did she want?" Now she's asking the same questions that I asked earlier about Reina. "She wanted to know where I am, but I'm not telling her." Dang, is she jealous or something? Well, I'm jealous too, but we just met...so why am I feeling this way?

I felt a lump form in my throat. My heart was throbbing every second, making me take a deep breath. All of a sudden, I couldn't stop staring at her lips. I wanted to taste them so badly...

I leaned in towards Ai, my eyes closing slowly. Before I could close mine, she closed her eyes too, her arms circling around my neck. Our lips were about to collide before we were interrupted by a sudden ring. I also felt another vibration in my pants pocket, making me cover my mouth from yelling in the process. "Sayu." "Reina." We groaned and answered our phones. Ai went somewhere in the house while I answered the phone.

"What do you want Sayu?!?" I angrily shouted, putting my hand on my forehead. "I just wanted to say hello!" Her voice is irritating me. "Aren't you with Eri?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. I heard giggling in the background. Well that answered my question. "Yes." Sayu replied. "Hi JunJun!" Eri shouted into the reciever, I cringed. "Er...hi Eri," I greeted, still keeping the phone away from my ear in case more shouting was coming. "Did you call just to annoy me?" "Yes." The two said at the same time in their usual sing-song voice. "Too bad, I'm busy at the moment." I hung up before they could say anything.

I still waited for Ai to come back in the spacious living room, but I couldn't hear any footsteps. "Where is she?" I whispered under my breath, getting up from the couch. I decided to go to the hall, hearing a distant voice. I found the door to Ai's room, but I didn't have the courage to knock on the door. I mean, it is her bedroom. Another lump formed in my throat, but I swallowed it down. I didn't hear anything else from the room, so I finally knocked.

The door was ajar. I was puzzled, but I stepped inside. My heart was thumping again, I didn't know what else was going to happen. "A-Ai-chan?" I stammered, looking nervously in the room. I sat down on the soft bed, twiddling my fingers. I don't know what's going on.

"JunJun, what are you doing in here?" Ai yelped, dropping her phone. "I-I was searching for you." I explained. Why am I so nervous? "It's okay." She sat down next to me. "That little thing we had was very-" Nice." I interrupted her, focusing on her lips.

I didn't even know we were leaning in, but we were. Her lips were very soft, I'm glad I could taste them. After a few minutes, we pulled away from panting a little. Then I realized something. "Hey, we're on your bed." "Yes, we are." Her face was crimson, and she was biting her lip. I started laughing, smiling. "What's wrong, did I do something?" "Oh no, it's so cute when you do that." I could tell that I was crimson too. Ai chuckled, standing up from her bed. "Um, are you busy? Do you need to go somewhere?" I shook my head in reply. I had no plans today, as usual. "Really? That's odd." "I'm trying to find a job, but that's about it." I shrugged my shoulders.

Ai sat back down on the bed, but this time she was even closer to me. I shivered, losing count of how many times I was blushing. "You okay down there?" I teased, expecting her to look up at me. Well, I got what I wanted. "I'm fine down here...." We were both gazing at each other now, and our lips met again.

I can't believe I have all these feelings in one day.

Akai (Chapter Two: Shadow)

JunJun

Oh my god, she is the girl in my dream...this is a very awkward situation. She is a very pretty girl, I have to call her later. I found myself in the swarm of people in the crowded streets. "I need to get out of here," I quickened my pace, realizing I was going way too slow. As I walked for what seemed to be a while, the swarm decreased.

"Eh? Ai-chan?" I heard footsteps running towards me. I then turned around, and I was face to face with a certain bean. "Yes Risa?" I grunted, holding tightly to the book I was reading earlier. "Oh, you dropped something." Risa picked up the piece of paper, my eyes expanded in size. "Oooh, what'st this?" She teased, waving the paper.

"Give it to me Risa.” I held out my hand, giving her a glare. “Nope.” she replied, holding the paper higher. There was no way I could reach that high. “Tell me, what's on this paper?” “Nothing.” “You’re not being specific.” Risa shook her head. “Where are you going?” I decided to change the subject. She brought her arms down, and I took the paper from her hands. “Well, I’m going to-” She looked down at her hands, but continued talking. “Anyway, I’m going over to Tanakacchi’s house.” “And how many times have you said that?” I started counting in my head. Risa has mentioned Reina a lot. Are they-no, that can’t be right. “Um, a lot?” Risa replied, shrugging her shoulders.

“So, are you coming with me?” Risa asked, giving me a mega-watt smile. “No, I’m going to go home and finish reading this book, it’s very interesting.” “Whatever Ai-chan, I’m going now.” She waved goodbye, and headed the opposite direction. Well that was random, I must keep track of this information. I finally made it to my house, and I unlocked the door.

“Hello home.” I greeted, closing my eyes. I like being in the comfort of my home. Even though I was out for an hour, I still liked to be at home relaxing. That is, until I recieved a text message from a certain yankii:

Why aren’t you here?!?

I squeaked, covering my mouth. I finally thought of something to reply back to the text:

I want to be at home.

That should be better. I put my phone down, but it dinged again. I huffed in annyonance and picked it up.

It’s some girl, isn’t it?

I immediately thought of JunJun when she text that. My cheeks were red from the thought. I didn’t text her back. Instead, I went to my room with the book. The entire house was silent, which has always been like that. Sometimes I like it, other times I don’t. This is one of those times where I don’t want it to be silent.

The ringing of my cellphone broke the silence. I jumped up, slammed my book, and ran to the table in the living room. I picked up the phone, and I saw an unknown number. My heart increased rapidly while I pressed the send button.

“Hello?” I hesitantly answered, my hand shaking badly. I’ve never been this nervous before. “Um, is this Takahashi-san?” the voice calmly asked on the other line. “J-JunJun?” I stammered a little. “Oh, so it is Takahashi-san! Yes, this is JunJun.” My heart started thumping. "Please, call me Ai-chan." "S-Sorry." JunJun stuttered. I could tell that she was feeling the same way, wait could she?

But she said I look familar too, even while stuttering. Wow, I really didn't expect this to happen. I didn't think dreams could come true, especially in an strange way!

"Um, Ai-chan? I've been calling you for how many times?" I shook my head and I was out of my thought bubble. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't stop-" "Thinking about me?" I could feel my cheeks heat up when she said that. I didn't know what to say then. "Well, yeah, but in a different way..." Crap, that didn't sound right.

All I could hear was JunJun laughing on the other line. "Yeah, me too...but there was something about you that I need to know..." "..Um...okay." I hesitantly answered. My hand was shaking, and my cheeks were probably crimson by now.

"I had a dream, the background was red." JunJun's voice was wobbly explaining the dream. "There was a shadow, and a girl walked up to me and repeated my name. She looked like you though."

I didn't say anything. I couldn't say anything. That's exactly how it happened. It's creepy that I just met this girl, and she's the girl in my dream.

"This is creepy, but..." I took a deep breath before continuing. "I had the same dream." We didn't say anything until JunJun suggested something. "Where do you live?" Confused, I told her my address. "Oh, I've seen that place before..I'll see you in a few minutes!" She hung up before I said anything.

My phone dinged. I had 3 missed text messages: All of them from Reina:

Ai-chan! Who is she?

If you don't tell me who she is, I'm going to call you Saru-chan from now on!

SARU-CHAN! SARU-CHAN! SARU-CHAN!

I cringed at the "Monkey-chan" reference. I don't think I look like a monkey at all. Someone knocked on the door, and I opened it. "Hello JunJun." I greeted, bowing. "Hi Ai-chan." JunJun greeted, bowing also.

"Um, JunJun can I ask you something?" My eyes darted to the floor. "Sure." she replied, giving me an odd stare. "Do I look like a monkey?" She then giggled, a faint blush appearing on her cheeks. "No silly, you look gorgeous." she replied, taking my hands.

I'm starting to like her, a lot.

Rondo (Chapter Fifteen: Caution)

The sun shined brightly behind the curtains that covered the window. When is Reina going to come back? She would return before sunrise. "Odd." I didn't realize I was talking until Ai-chan started hugging me tighter. "What's odd?" "Oh, um...nothing." I replied, hugging her back. "Something's wrong though..." Closing my eyes I told her that Reina hasn't been back yet, and it's unusual. Ai-chan titled her head, raising her eyebrows. "She must have been late." I burst out laughing, I'm so teasing her when she gets here.

Suddenly, I heard the window open, and someone stepped in until she got tangled in the curtains. "Dang it, who put the curtains here?!?" Reina, of course. "Shhh, you'll wake my parents-" "Ai-chan, what's going on in there?!?" The moment I heard banging, Ai-chan immediately pushed me off of the bed. Reina somehow "won" the battle she was having with the curtain. I slipped under the bed, hoping that no one would see us here. "Come in," Ai-chan's voice was distant, even though she was right above us.

"Where the heck have you been Reina?" I asked, trying to keep a straight face, but I couldn't help but laugh. Her hair was a mess! "What's all that?" I pointed to pieces of paper that was scattered all over the floor, most of it was outside of our hiding place. "Oh sh-" Reina slowly creeped out from under the bed to collect everything. The door slammed open, thank god Reina got all the paper and was safely in our hiding place again.

"Eri just called," Someone was already sitting on the bed obviously. I closed my eyes tightly, Reina was trying to organize everything, perusing each word. I still wanted to know what that was, but I decided to listen to the conversation. "She was wondering if you want to go shopping with her." Didn't she know that Ai-chan was a vampire? Then again, her last name is Kamei, she's so slow. "Um, no thank you Father." "Nice reply Ai-chan." Reina whispered while getting everything organized.

"Okay then Ai-chan, do whatever you have to do..." They left, slamming the door behind them. "And here I go thinking that something bad was going to happen." That was a good thing though, I would have been scared if they found out about me and Reina. Then they would know, well, everything! I don't want that to happen! "Move Reina." I playfully pushed her in order for her to move. "Fine, fine, hold on a minute." Reina stored everything in the folder, and she got out from under the bed, I followed after her.

"What is that?" Ai-chan asked, pointing to the folder. "I'm about to show you two lo-" "Keep it up or you're dead Shorty." I threatned, sitting next to Ai-chan on the bed. "Anyway, I'm about to show you two." Reina ignored my threat, opening the folder and giving me the first page of information. "It's the tracker demon information that possessed Eri's body." "All these activities and events, this is very-" "Who found this?" Ai-chan interrupted me, sounding cautious. "Risa, you remember my past trainer right?" I thought for a minute, wasn't it that Maki girl? It has to be! "Goto Maki?" My answer came out as a guess. "Yes, she collected all this information." She gave us the folder. "I saw her today, and she loves me." "USO!" I shouted once I heard the news. "Geez, Reaction Queen what's your problem?" Reina huffed in annoyance. "I have no problem, it's just strange to see you fall in love with your own trainer." "Well, well....YOU HAD AYA!" She was fuming now, her cheeks were red. I wasn't surprised since I was teasing. Aya wasn't a bad trainer, she was actually good.

"Ai-chan, are you still weak?" Reina asked Ai-chan quickly. I was worried too, since she was very quiet. "A little." she muttered, still looking the information that was contained in that folder. "That's it, she needs blood." Reina's eyes squinted and her lips were pale and thin, forming a little smile. Ai-chan nodded slowly, getting off of the bed and jumping out of the already open window. "You didn't close the window?" I asked Reina, giving her a glare. "Sorry, I was too busy having a fight with Curtain-san over there." I then moved the curtains out of the way and jumped out of the window, Reina followed me. We joined Ai-chan, who was still struggling but trying to put up a strong front.

We have to be careful next time Ai-chan's weak like this.
*************************************************************************************************
I told her about JunJun. Of course I was nervous, but Koharu seemed to understand everything. "Well, I saw Sayu outside today too." I looked outside, it wasn't really the afternoon yet. Maybe I'm slow on time and it is the afternoon. "What time?" I smirked, curious to know about this. "1-2 AM." Koharu replied, shrugging. "It's something she encountered earlier, but that's not the point." "Then, what's the point?" I asked.

"LinLin, you like this vampire girl, um...JunJun right?" God, it's like she knows me. Well, of course since we are best friends, but still..it's scary sometimes. "Well, yeah..." I replied, looking down. "You should look for her later, she'll probably find you by then." I nodded slightly, picking at my nails.

I can't believe I like a vampire. It's odd, but interesting at the same time. I've never had these feelings before.

"Now, where's the food, because I'm hungry, and I want to try some of your Chinese food." Koharu rubbed her tummy. "Food...." I was drooling at the scent from downstairs. "I guess that explains that we have some?" She opened the bedroom door, and the scent made my stomach grumble.

"Itadakimasu!" We shouted at the same time and ran downstairs.

Akai (Chapter One: Dream)

Red.

That's all I can see, pure red. I blinked several times, but I keep seeing the same background repeatedly. What is this? Why am I seeing this? The red background fades away, and it's now dark. Then there is a shadow. It's a person, I can tell. Light surrounds the person, I squint my eyes, still nothing. Why is this happening? What's going on?

"JunJun....." the voice sounded like a girl. So the person's a girl? She walks closer to me, I can see her now. I open my mouth to say something, but nothing came out. What's wrong with me? "JunJun...." she repeats, wrapping her arms around me. I could feel my cheeks burning. My eyes grew bigger by the second. She looks up at me and smiles.

Her smile is so....flawless. Somehow I smile too. I close my eyes and open them again, but the girl disappears. What? Where did she go?

I woke up, looking around at my bedroom. The sun peeked behind the curtains, making me squint my eyes a little. My eyes darted over to the alarm clock, the bright numbers said that it was 7:15. I sighed, sitting up in my bed and rubbing my eyes. "I've been having this dream for how long?" I mumbled, slowly walking to the door.

I bumped into something, no, someone. I lost my balance and fell onto the hard ground. "That's a nice way to be fully awake in five minutes." I was grumpy. "Why the frown JunJun?" I looked up and noticed the person held out her hand. "I just woke up Sayu." I took her hand, and she helped me up. "This isn't like you JunJun, you never wake up early." She's right, this isn't like me at all.

"Yeah, yeah whatever," I walked past her and went to the kitchen. I grabbed a banana, peeling that ugly yellow skin off of it. Sayu rushed past me and was about to open the door, but she looked back at me. "You're acting weird JunJun." She raised an eyebrow. "I'm fine." I replied, taking another bite of my banana. "Is that all you're going to eat?" "Probably." I shrugged my shoulders. "You're going out soon?" "Maybe, aren't you late for something?" "OH YEAH, I HAVE TO MEET ERI!" Sayu slammed the door behind her, I locked the door right after she left. I finished my banana, and threw the peel away.

I had already prepared what to wear, so I got dressed. I unlocked the door, closed it behind me, and locked it. My stomach growled when I stepped out into the crowded and busy streets. "I guess the banana wasn't enough?" I asked myself, my eyes scanning the streets to find some place where I can eat. "I can go to the coffee shop then." I continued my short walk in the sea of people.

The coffee shop wasn't far away from where I was at the moment. Thank goodness, because I didn't want to be too far away from the apartment, I might go back there soon. I entered the shop and got some coffee and sat down at a table, taking a sip. That dream, I have had that dream numerous times. Does it mean something?

I spotted a shorter girl who was reading a book, taking a sip of her coffee too. She was very focused, her eyes scanning over each word. I couldn't help but stare at her. She had that aura, just like the one I had in the dream. But I don't even know her, I should leave her alone. She started laughing, a smile formed on her lips. "Eh?" My eyes expanded in size.

She looks familiar.

A faint blush appeared on my cheeks, my eyes darting down to the half-empty cup. I took my last sip before going to the girl's table. I'm nervous, but this girl reminds me of that girl in my dream.

"Um, is this seat taken?" I asked nervously, my lips tingling. She didn't say anything, but she waved her hand. I sat down anyway, continuing the talk, "How is the story?" "Good." She didn't take her eyes off the book. It's like she's completely absorbed in it! "Excuse me, I'm trying to talk to you." I warned. "Okay then, so-" She stopped and stared at me, her eyes sparkling. "I'm so sorry about that." "It's alright," I laughed. "I had to come over here."

She didn't say anything, but she gave me a dazed look. I stopped laughing, clearing my throat and looking down again. "You know," she pointed to me. "You look very similiar, I think I've seen you in a dream before." I paused, and looked up. "Y-you look familiar too." I stuttered under my breath. She's had the same dream too!?!

"What's your name, and can I get your number?" I asked her immediately. I need to keep in contact with her. I want to talk to her again. "I should ask you the same." She ripped a piece of paper in half, giving me the paper. I wrote down my name and number as quickly as possible. I gave the paper to her, and she gave her paper to me. "We will see each other again." She then got up and left the coffee shop, leaving me with an odd expression. My eyes immediately darted to the paper, and there was her name and number. But what I really liked was her name:

Takahashi Ai

What a beautiful name.

Oyasumi #17

Erika's graduating. That's right. She's graduating to become a full-time model, while I'm stuck here with all these kids. I mean, what am I going to do? I know I'm the leader of C-ute, but I need Erika beside me when I need help. Now I have to be independent. Tears spilled from my eyes like a waterfall. Why does she have to go so soon?

When she announced that she was leaving C-ute at the concert, I tried not to break down. I didn't want to disappoint the fans. This sucks, I don't want her to go! I wiped my tears, and I looked at my reflection in the mirror in the dressing room. I looked deplorable! This isn't like me at all. I quickly wiped my tears away when I heard the door make a creaking sound when it opened.

"Maimi?" A girl peeked in the room. "Yes Airi?" I forced a small smile to let her know I was alright. "How are you?" My smile faded, and a frown appeared. "How am I?" I muttered in a dark voice. "HOW AM I?" I don't know what got into me, but the moment Airi asked me that question, I erupted. "I don't know Airi! Everyone's graduating! First Megumi, then your beloved Kanna, AND NOW ERIKA! WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO C-UTE AIRI!?!" Tears were building up and pouring from my eyes. I sat back down in the chair, sobbing uncontrollably.

The look on Airi's face was shocking. Tears were forming in her eyes too, but she didn't move at all. Was it something I said? "Airi, I'm so sorry." I apologized when I realized what I just said. "No, I know what you mean Maimi," Airi's voice was fading. "I miss Kanna too, and to see Erika go like this is so soon." I froze, stunned. Silence filled the air before I spoke, "I don't know what's going to happen now Airi, I don't want anyone else to leave." Airi sat in a chair across from me, taking my hand. "I don't want Chisa, Mai, or Nakky to leave us, they are underrated though..." "Not helping Airi." I tried snatching my hand away from Airi's, but she squeezed it tightly. "They're not going to leave us Maimi, I'm sure." She smiled, letting my hand go.

I was still crying. I still couldn't believe Erika's gone, I haven't even told her the most important thing in our relationship. Sure we are friends, always helping each other out, always supporting each other, always hanging out, always celebrating each other's birthdays, but-

I love her.

It had to be so sudden. She had to leave, didn't she? "But Airi, I-" "I know you love her Erika, like how I love Kanna, you have to tell her Maimi, this is your last chance." She was right, I have to find her. I must find her, she's everything to me and I'm glad she came into my life. "Airi," My eyes darted at her, a gasp escaped from her lips. "Thank you very much." "No problem Maimi," Airi walked to the door and opened it. "Tell her, like how I told Kanna before she left." She grinned before exiting my dressing room.

I changed into my normal outfit, putting the costume up. I opened the door, and a clutter of people were in the hall, talking about random things that I didn't care about. All I wanted was Erika. I need to tell her now before anyone else talks to her. "Excuse me," I pushed past the Eggs. I spotted Chisa and Nakky talking to each other. "Hey guys, have you seen-" "Erika? She's in the dressing room." Chisa interrupted pointing to the right. I headed towards my destination, running as fast as I could.

But before I could even knock on the door, I was crying. The name "Umeda Erika" was on the door, just like any other dressing room door that has our names on it, but this hit me the hardest. She's not going to graduate until October, but I'm really upset to see her go. I hesitantly knocked on the door. "Coming." Erika sang in her sing-song voice. I'm going to miss that voice.

She opened the door, seeing my distraught face. Her expression changed as she nodded for me to come in. "Maimi, something wrong?" she asked, her eyes filled with curiousity. I was about to speak, but she put her finger over my lips. "It's about my graduation isn't it?" She didn't let me answer, not even with a nod. "Maimi, after Kanna left, and me being underrated in C-ute, I couldn't take it anymore. To be honest, I wanted to become a model. I've got the look, and you know that." She took her finger off of my lips. "You can do it on your own Maimi, trust me."

Erika was right, she's become so gorgeous. She was fit to be a model. I support her decision, I'm happy she's moving on. At least she will still be in the media, but just modeling. She was hesitant to say something, I could tell by the little gasps. I was hesitant too, gulping

"There's something I want to tell you." We said at the same time. Erika walked closer to me, wrapping her arms around my waist. "You go first..." I whispered, wanting to know if she has the same feelings for me that I have for her. No response. There was little space between us, but we were close. Very close.

Our lips collided softly. I didn't want to pull away, this was the best moment of my life. Her hold on me was pretty tight. Hot tears poured from our eyes. We knew we are going to miss each other. We pulled away, looking into each other's eyes. "I love you Erika," I finally admitted my feelings for her. "Thank you for being there for me through all these obstacles, you are the best thing that has happened in my entire life." Erika just stared at me, panting. "I love you too Maimi, please think of me when you deal with Nakky, Mai, Chisa, and Airi." I looked at my watch, and I noticed that it was almost nine o' clock.

"It's almost nine o' clock, I have to go." I whispered under my breath, heading to the door. But before I could leave, Erika's grip on my hand was tighter. "Always think of me Maimi, I will think the same when I'm modeling." I nodded enthusiastically. "I won't forget you Erika." She let go of my hand, waving goodbye. I waved back, and I closed the door.

I'll never forget you Erika, because I love you.

Rondo (Chapter Fourteen: Distance)

Maki....

Her name was repetitive in my mind as I was still heading towards Ai-chan's residence. Looking down at the folder in my hands, I took a deep breath before looking up at the sky. It was brighter, but the sun didn't rise yet. I quickened my pace before, so why am I not doing it now? It's all because of her, Maki. I remember her, my past trainer. She taught me the good and bad things of being a messenger. And the position she's in right now is amazing. I've had feelings for her in the past, but now...I don't know. My heartbeat quickened for the billionth time, I stopped walking. "Maki..." The name escaped my lips. "Goto-san..." I smiled.

"Yes?" I paused, my train of thought was interrupted. I looked in all directions, but no one was here. Strangely, the voice sounded like Maki. "I must be thinking things." I whispered to myself, continuing towards my destination. I could hear footsteps near me, so I started walking faster. "Reina? Is that you?" The same, familiar voice asked me. I stopped in my tracks and looked up, I didn't even know I was looking down the entire time.

It's her...

"Nice to finally see you Reina." Maki greeted, baring her fangs. I could feel my cheeks burning. "Nice to see you again...Maki." I hesitated. "So, how are you doing?" Maki walked with me, looking at the folder. "Oh, so you have the Takahashi-Kamei case going on." "Um...yeah." I stammered.

"Why are you so quiet?" Maki looked at me with a concerned expression. "You talk a lot, I missed that about you." I stared into her eyes, not saying anything. I still held on to the folder tightly, which was a surprise. "Maki-"

"We've been distant," Maki interrupted me before I finished. "I know we haven't seen each other in a long time, and I'm happy to finally-" "I'm glad to see you too." I walked closer to her, our bodies touched. A gasp came from the both of us, my cheeks were turning crimson.

All of a sudden, Maki's lips collided with mine. I didn't expect it, but I liked it. I don't know why she did it though. "What I'm trying to say is, I've loved you for a long time Reina." Maki was unpredictable at times. My throat became dry, and I looked at the folder. Strange, I'm still holding this? I thought I was going to croak when I said these words, but I didn't. I looked into Maki's eyes and whispered,

"I love you too, Maki."
************************************************************************
The sun peeked out from the clouds, bringing in sunshine. Well, since I was caught outside after 9 PM, my parents allowed me to going on my date with Sayu. But I had to come back after I took her home.

My phone vibrated, and I picked it up. Checking the caller ID, I noticed that it was LinLin. What could she be calling me for? "Hello?" I mumbled, getting up from my bed and picking out an outfit for the date. "Koha, you have to come over to my house, it's important."

"Important? How important?" I asked quickly, getting a towel. "Just come over to my house." My eyes were big. "What time?" "How about...1 PM?" I looked at my alarm clock. It was 12 PM. "Okay, I'll be there." I replied, and I hung up.

I took my shower quickly and put on my clothes. I put my phone in my purse and ran downstairs. "Koharu, where are you going?" My father stood up, giving me a mean look. "I'm going to LinLin's house," I answered. "She needs help on something." That was a lie, but a good one! "But, you're not going to eat?" My mother was concerned. "No, I'm going to eat over at her house, bye!" I closed the door and headed to my destination.

I knocked on the door, and she opened it, greeting me. "Hello Koha." "Hi LinLin, um...so what is it?" I bowed, curious to know why she wanted me to come over to her house. LinLin took a few deep breaths to tell me. "Um..I have a date in two hours." I got up and walked to the door.

"I met someone." A smirk was plastered on my face when I heard LinLin say those words. "So, what's her name?" "Well, she saved me." Eh? What? "Save you from, what exactly?" I'm interested now. "From being killed by a creepy vampire." And she sounds serious too.

This must be the weirdest day of my life.

Rondo (Chapter Thirteen: Atmosphere)

"You look tired Reina, something on your mind?" Risa asked me, concerned. Well, of course something's on my mind. I've been sitting down like this for how long? And also, I have to face Yossie and Miki. Yes, them. "Um, Reina? Reina..." Risa kept shaking me until I had her full attention. She's going to give me a headache if she keeps doing that to me. "What?" I muttered under my breath. I was a little dizzy, and I made a mental note to myself:

Pay attention to Risa, or you will get dizzy.

Ai-chan's voice interrupted my thoughts. "Can you guys shush? My parents would kill me if they see you two here." She threw a pillow at us, and she laid back down. She was quiet the entire time we were here. "Well, is something on your mind Ai-chan?" I asked, throwing the pillow back at her. "I feel a little weak." she replied, putting the pillow to the side. Oh yeah, how could I forget?

I opened the window and climbed out. But before I closed the window, I asked, "Are you going to take care of her Risa?" "Yes, yes, Reina." Risa replied, stroking Ai-chan's hair. "Okay." I closed the window and jumped off of the tree branch.

The scenery wasn't pretty. The grass was damp, the streets were slippery, but at least the sidewalk was fine. Being the messenger sucks. I'm not late for anything when I have meetings with Yossie and Miki. They're always too busy whenever I arrive on time.

The black hue in the sky suddenly turned to a dark blue color. Okay, so maybe I am arrive a little later than usual, but Yossie and Miki won't mind it, right?" Trying not to panic, I started to take deep breaths. This was kind of helping until I got to the building. I took my last deep breath and went inside.

This time I didn't even bother asking for Yossie and Miki. The only thing I was focusing on was their office. I opened the door, seeing the two shuffling through papers and stuff and then looking up at me. "Tanaka," Yossie glared at me, her tone was loud. "Reina." Miki greeted, groping me. Crap, I'm going to be yelled at and I've been Miki'd. "Hi to the both of you?" I put on an innocent smile, trying to lighten the office since the atmosphere was a little awkward and dark.

"Anyway," Yossie shook her head, pointing to the seat across from her. I sat down in it, gluping. She can be scary at times, and you don't want to be scared of her. "Has Eri been fully recovered again?" "Yes she has," I replied, nodding. "She doesn't really remember a thing expect that she knows about us being vampires." Yossie and Miki looked down at a folder that was filled with information. "You do know that tracker demons tend to pick up more than that, right?" Miki asked me, sliding the folder on the table from their side to my side. "No, I didn't know that." I shook my head, reading carefully.

Name: Kamei Eri
Date of Birth: December 23, 1988
Bloodtype: AB
Class: Human
Aquantinces: Michishige Sayumi, born July 13, 1989, Class: Human; Takahashi Ai, born September 14, 1986, Class: Vampire.

10 PM: Kamei, possessed, was walking in the street toward the Takahashi residence until she noticed Takahashi, who was walking outside also. They bumped into each other, and then Kamei text Michishige on her cellphone, to which Michishige didn't reply. Kamei then called.....

"Where did you guys get this information?" I asked, curious. "Do you remember your past trainer?" My eyes stopped in their tracks as I tried to think of my trainer. I looked at Yossie and Miki, shocked. "Goto...Maki?" I managed to finally say her name. She tracks down all the information about these tracker demons now? I thought she was training another vampire! "Yep, she seems to have progressed as the messenger." Yossie smiled. Miki rolled her eyes, and muttered under her breath, "Whatever." "So Maki got all this information, but how?" Again, I'm always curious as to how things work around here. "You'll see when you get to be in her position." Miki replied. She was already getting sick of my curiousity. Why do humans say, 'Curiousity kills the cat'?

"Keep the information," Yossie returned the folder. "Niigaki and Takahashi need to know about this too." "Yes." I held the folder in my arms tightly, making sure that nothing falls out of it. "It's nice seeing you again, Reina." Miki emphasized my name before groping me. My eyes went big, and I turned around. Crap, I've been Miki'd again. Oh well, I'll live.

When I got outside, the sky was a little brighter. I quickened my pace, clutching the folder to my chest. If all of the contents fell out, I would be dead by Risa's Reaction Queen moments, and I don't want that.

But I have an odd feeling, that this isn't the last time we will see this tracker demon.
************************************************************************
Eh? Why am I up so early? I don't want to wake up early, I want to crawl back in my shell. I pulled the covers over my head to try to go to sleep but I couldn't. I slowly got up, my head spinning in the process. I decided to call Sayu, since she's already hyper in the morning. "Sayu?" I asked when she mumbled an odd greeting. "Do you want to go somewhere?" On her line, I could tell that her voice was breaking while hesitating to answer. "I-I have a date." "With who?" I smirked. I can't believe Sayu has a date. "K-Koharu," Sayu whispered nervously. "Listen Eri, I have to go." Her voice wobbled before hanging up.

"Aw, this sucks." I pouted. Then I guess I have nothing to do today but go shopping. No, that's a good idea! I do need some clothes. "Yes!" I muttered to myself, picking out an outfit and getting dressed. I went downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Eri, hello, are you okay?" My mom greeted me, walking me over to the table. It took me a while to respond. "Oh, yeah, I'm doing alright, I think I'm going to do some shopping today." "Good idea." My father murmured from behind the newspaper that was covering his face. "Just make sure you don't spend too much money on that credit card." My mom warned, pointing at the item I was holding in my hand. I looked down, and quickly put it in my wallet. "Don't worry, I won't spend too much." I laughed, eating my cereal.

After all, I do have a day to myself, but I'm wondering why Sayu is scared. I think I'll talk to her about it later.

Rondo (Chapter Twelve: Aftershock)

*****************************************************************************************************
"So, JunJun..." I smirked before asking my trainer a question. "What?" JunJun replied, not looking up from the damp grass. "That human girl-" "Her name is LinLin." JunJun interrupted before I could say her name. The tone in her voice went from serious to defensive. Aw, she's standing up for LinLin, how cute. "You like her, don't you?" I blurted, bursting out into laughter.

"No." JunJun mumbled quickly, twirling a piece of her hair. Even though it was dark outside, I could tell that she was blushing. Wow, she's so obvious. "You are such a liar JunJun." I teased, sticking my tongue out. JunJun didn't reply. Instead, she stood still like a statue. After a while she admitted, "Okay, maybe I do, but she was getting attacked by another vampire!" I shook my head. Well, that was all the evidence I needed, but maybe? "Sure." I nodded.

I perused the area, and there were clusters of buildings right in front of us. We had to find a way out. "Where are we?" I asked the first thing that came to my mind. My heartbeat was increasing. "I don't know." JunJun silently replied. "You mean to tell me," I decided to recap. "We ran all the way out here, and now we are lost?" "I guess so." JunJun scanned the area, and she ran off. I might as well follow her.

"JunJun!" I shouted, following her. Gosh, running down these sidewalks are starting to hurt my legs. Didn't I already have enough training? We ran all sorts of directions, I couldn't keep up because my mind was going insane.

Finally, we made it back to the usual, empty-filled streets. The roads were slippery and wet. Of course, because it just rained. After taking a moment to breathe regularly again, I teased JunJun one more time, "You sure you don't like her?" "Aika, I like her okay?" JunJun took a deep breath. Duh, you thought I just realized that?

"I knew it." I laughed, leaning against one building. "Hey, what time is it?" "Probably midnight." JunJun replied, shrugging her shoulders. "We should take a break from training." I suggested. "Yeah, we should." JunJun stood next to me. I wanted to tease her again, but I didn't feel like it, not right now at least.

It's rare for a vampire to have a crush on a human. I hope this doesn't harm JunJun in any way.

My phone vibrated on my nightstand, waking me up with a tiny yelp. My eyes went to the bright alarm clock. It was 2 AM. Seriously, who could be calling me at this time? I picked up the phone and looked at the caller ID. Eh? Sayu? I flipped open the phone immediately and sat up in my bed.

"Sayu? Something wrong?" I was a little groggy and tired, but heck, that just woke me up. "Eri...Eri..." Sayu repeated nervously. Oh my god, did Eri do something to her? "Sayu, what's the problem? Are you okay?" I tried to calm myself down, but it wasn't working since my body started shaking. "I-I'm fine..." Sayu's voice was soft. "You don't sound like it." I was worried. I got out of my bed and got a T-shirt and jeans. "Koha, I'm scared.." Sayu burst into tears over the phone. I knew Eri was her best friend, but..I don't think she would hurt Sayu. "Where are you?" "I'm at the park." The park? She must be very upset.

"I'll be right there." I hung up the phone before hearing Sayu's response. I threw it onto the bed and slipped out of my nightgown and put on my jeans and T-shirt. I put my phone in my jeans pocket. I can't leave the house without it. What if Sayu calls me again?

I snuck past my parent's room, making sure not to make any noise. The stairs creaked a little the moment I walked down them. My eyes were closing each time it creaked, but luckily my parent's didn't wake up. I opened the door and closed it quietly behind me. By that time, I made a run for it.

Thank goodness the park wasn't far away from my house. But why is Sayu still out there at 1 AM? She should be at home sleeping peacefully. I shook my head of all these thoughts. Something's troubling her, and I need to know what it is.

"Sayu?" I asked once I got to the park. There was no sign of her. "I'm right here." I turned around, and I jumped. Thank goodness it was Sayu. "You scared the crap out of me!" I shrieked a little, my voice squeaking in the process. It took me a second to observe Sayu. Her clothes weren't messed up, which was a relief. Her face was tear-streaked. "What happened?" I pulled her into a hug, and she told me everything that happened.

I was stiff after hearing Sayu's explanation. It was silent, and all you could hear were the owls hooting in the early morning. "Sounds like Eri was possessed," I looked at Sayu. "I'm glad she didn't hurt you." Sayu pulled me closer. We were in this embrace for a long time, until I pulled away. "I'm going to go home you do the same okay?" I kissed her before we waved goodbye to each other. "I'll see you at 3 PM!" I shouted, hoping that she wouldn't forget our date.

I got to my house safely, but the lights were turned on, and my father gave me a stern look. "Kusumi Koharu, you are in big trouble."

Crap.

Rondo (Chapter Eleven: Cosmos)

"Risa, get Ai-chan out of here. Now." Reina instructed, pointing to us. I took Ai-chan's hand, helping her up. God, why did I go to sleep? It's all my fault. I'm going to kill Eri for what she did to her! But Reina has all that covered. Something's wrong with Eri, I must ask Yossie and Miki about this girl.

"I'm sorry this happened Ai-chan," I held her closer to me as I went a different direction. "We are going to the hideout." "W-what?" Ai-chan asked in shock, looking up at me. I couldn't look down at her. She was shaking so badly and she was so weak that she couldn't stand up on her own two feet.

We got to the hideout, and I asked for Miki and Yossie. "In there." The girl told us in her dry voice. While we were walking to their office, the girl asked, "What's up with her?" "None of your business." I rpelied, baring my sharp fangs. People need to mind their own business.

"Yossie? Miki?" I called, looking around. "Niigaki...Takahashi?" Yossie greeted us with concern. "Yeah, it's just the two of us this time." My cheeks flushed. "That's okay, but..Takahashi, why does look like this?" Eh? Is this coming from Miki? Or does she want to grope her again? She better not do that. "It's that Eri girl." I replied angrily, glaring at Miki and folding my arms. "Eri? Kamei Eri..." Yossie left the office, leaving Miki confused and she followed her shortly after. I rubbed Ai-chan's back, trying to make her feel better. Ever since we got in the building, she has stopped shaking, but she was still weak, and she didn't let go of me.

"Ah, Kamei Eri," Yossie came back in the office, Miki was behind her. "Born December 23rd, am I correct?" Ai-chan nodded in reply. "Well, um, how long have you guys been friends Takahashi?" Yossie questioned, her expression was unreadable. "We've been friends since we were little." Ai-chan replied, thinking for a moment. "Mhm..." Yossie observed. "Well, er-Eri is not who you think she is." Duh, why are we here now? "Then...what is she?" Ai-chan asked, her voice filled with curiousity.

"Eri is being possessed by tracker demon." Miki answered, looking down at the ground. WHAT? This isn't good, oh this is not good. I'm going to go ballistic now. "Are you serious?" Ai-chan was shocked, I don't blame her. "USO!" I finally shouted, Miki covering her ears at my Reaction Queen outburst. "No wonder her blood smelled so rich." Ai-chan muttered, shuddering. "But, what are tracker demons?"

"Tracker demons are evil to vampires," Yossie explained. "They possess human's bodies to hunt after vampires in order to 'get to know them better'." So this spirit has been possessing Eri the entire time. I tried to control my anger, clenching my fists tightly. "But they really want to make them become weak and put them in poor condition." "And while the vampire becomes weak, the tracker demon keeps taunting them or touching them until they die." Ai-chan shook her head, angry tears clouded her eyes. Heck, I was upset too.

"So, what do we do?" Ai-chan asked, her eyes were sparkling. "You're going to have to suck Eri's blood, even if it does make you weak." "Will this make her unconscious?" I asked. "Only when the demon leaves her body and vanishes," Yossie replied. "Then Eri will wake up and not remember anything that happened when she was possessed." Ai-chan's eyes grew wider.

"Where's Tanaka?" Miki asked, changing the subject immediately. "She's fighting Eri." I replied. "Get back out there, she could get killed herself." Yossie demanded, and Ai-chan and I ran outside in the cold rain.
**************************************************************************************************
"Okay, now we can solve this one way or the other: Fight or....what the heck." My long nails scraped Eri's arm, leaving blood oozing from her arm and dripping onto the cold, hard pavement. "That's all you can say to me?" Eri laughed, pushing me onto the pavement. I was getting dizzy, and my body became weak. I was speechless.

"Let go of her Eri!" A voice shouted not to far away from us. I looked up and noticed that it was that Sayu girl. Holy crap, I forgot she was a bystander.

Eri ignored her, her hands were on my shoulders, making me become weaker. That did it, I had to get this girl off of me. With all of my strength, I scratched her left cheek, and she climbed off of me. She touched her cheek, growling in anger. She charged at me with full speed, but I simply dodged and she fell. If Risa didn't teach me these moves, I would have been dead right now.

I grabbed the collor of her shirt, and my fist came in contact with her other cheek. I didn't punch her that hard though. I looked over at the bystander, Sayu, right. Why do I keep forgetting her name. "Go home." I instructed, pointing to her. Sayu nodded, and she ran home.

Eri glared at me, trying to pull my hand away from her collar. My arm was shaking due to her touch and the rain, so I dropped her, and she landed on the ground. "You vampires, you are so dead." she struggled to get up. Wait, she's a...."You're a tracker demon?" I blurted. "Yeah." Eri replied, her eyes narrowing.

"I'll handle her Reina." I turned around, Ai-chan right behind me. What is she doing? She's suppossed to be at home. I moved out of the way, and I stood next to Risa. "What is she-" "Just watch." Risa interrupted, smirking.

"Ai-chan," Eri smiled devilishly as Ai-chan approached her. She titled Eri's head to the side. "W-What are you doing?" Eri's voice was alarming. Ai-chan sucked Eri's blood. Oh my god.

"HOLY CRAP THAT'S THE SOLUTION?!?" I shouted before covering my mouth. "Yes, Yossie told Ai-chan about the tracker demons." Risa replied, witnessing the scene. They went to the hideout instead of home? Dang it, I'm going to be Miki'd.

Eri was unconscious for a while. The rain stopped pouring, and it was a clear night. The demon left her body and vanished, and Eri's eyes were fluttering open. "Eh?" she rubbed her neck with one hand and touched her cheek on the other. "Ai-chan?" she whispered, confused. "I'm right here Eri." Ai-chan smiled, helping Eri up. "What happened to me?" "You tripped and fell." Ai-chan let out a nervous laugh. "Fangs...you're a vampire?" Eri laughed. Ai-chan nodded. "Oh yeah..I forgot that you were a vampire." She pointed to us. "And you guys are.." "Her trainers." I replied quickly. "You should go home now," I warned. "Your parents are probably not happy about you being out this long." Eri nodded, and she walked home.

"We should get going too you lovebirds." I teased, laughing as Ai-chan and Risa bopped my head. "Shorty." They teased at the same time. "EH?!? I'm not a shorty!" I folded my arms and pouted. "Think you can make it in Ai-chan?" "Yeah, I'm going to be fine." Ai-chan waved her hand dismissively, and opened the front door. I opened the window and got inside Ai-chan's room with Risa following me and closing it behind her.

I want to go back to sleep now.
