Rondo (Chapter Two: Transformation)

The room was filled with a strange silence, until the birds started chirping. I tried to keep out of the sunlight as much as possible since it was expanding. We have to keep her trapped in here, there's no way she's leaving out of our sight. "EH?!?" she shouted, about to fall off of the bed.
In a second, Risa ran over to the bed and caught Ai-chan, who let out that infamous yelp. I started laughing, but started to move to a corner when even more brightness kept shining through the window.

"Ai-chan?" A woman knocked on the door, her voice a little muffled. My wonky eyes grew even bigger and wider as we heard the creaking of the open door. "Quickly!" I whispered to Risa as I found a closet. I opened the door and closed it quietly, eavesdropping on Ai-chan and her mother's conversation.

"Oh! You're awake!" Takahashi-san's voice was obviously filled with glee. I rolled my eyes, putting my ear to the wall. Risa's back was to the wall. I think she was feeling a little hot, probably due to the humidity of the closet.

"Uh..yeah.." Ai-chan replied, her voice sounding a little shaky. She's still shocked about her becoming a vampire. Risa shook also. I grabbed her arm, whispering, "Are you okay?" "What are we going to do Reina?" Risa finally whispered.

That was a good question, because I have no idea on what we were going to do...Ai-chan can't go out in the day, she's already starting to become a vampire. Hmm.....
"Risa, I have a plan." I whispered, ignoring the conversation between Ai-chan and her mother. "What is it?" Risa asked, curiousity rising in her voice. "Just follow me okay?" I asked Risa with my big wonky eyes. She nodded as we heard the door close.
**************************************************************************************************
This is not going to look good. When Reina has plans, it would turn into a disaster. My heartbeat was going faster and faster. At least my body was cooling down as I came out of the closet. I saw Ai-chan looking at us with a scared look. She needs to stop being afraid.

"Listen you two, I have to go to the picnic with Eri. I can't miss it." Ai-chan went over to her bathroom, getting white towels and a white washcloth. "Set it for the sunset Ai-chan." A wave of coldness was now filling the room. That was your plan Reina?! That was a stupid idea! What if Ai-chan turns into a vampire at that point!?

"I'm not sure about that." Ai-chan replied, getting her soap. I sighed. "Come on, Ai-chan!" I grabbed her by the wrists, looking into her scared eyes. "Please?" Somehow, my whisper sounded like I was begging. I could tell that from behind me Reina rolled those wonky eyes of hers.

Ai-chan thought about it for a few seconds. "Fine." she muttered. I let go of her and she went into the bathroom door, closing it behind her. I was gazing for five minutes until Reina hit my hip. "What was that?" she whispered as she pulled me over to Ai-chan's bed. "Uh...I was trying to act like Rika?" I asked innocently, looking outside. Brightness stopped shining through the window, since it was already the afternoon. Reina was talking, but I wasn't really listening.
I'm still worried about Ai-chan. She has a lot to think about, and I don't blame her. I have an odd feeling that we are going to fail, but at least she fell for my cuteness. "Risa, are you blushing?" Reina asked me, giving me a smirk. "No.." I replied, tugging at the ends of my dress. "Listen up," she whispered. "We're going to let Ai-chan go to that picnic with Eri, but we're going to follow her." I nodded, of course we are going to follow her.

A few minutes later, Ai-chan came out of her bathroom wearing a pink shirt with blue jeans and pink sneakers. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail. I could feel my cheeks heating up. This girl was going to become a vampire?

"So, what do you think?" Ai-chan asked. I thought we were supposed to be training her, but oh my god, she's so cute! "Beautiful." Reina and I said at the same time, giving each other mean looks. Noon was turning into sunset as we got to know Ai-chan. The orange hue was peeking through the window. "I'm going to go," Ai-chan warned before opening the door. "Don't you guys make my room a catastrophe." "Yes Ai-chan." Reina and I again, said at the same time. We smirked, going to the window and opened it, seeing Ai-chan walking in the middle of the street.

"Are you ready?" Reina asked me as we saw her disappearing from our sight. "Yes." I replied, jumping from the window as Reina got out of the window, but she closed it before jumping down.
"Let's go." She said as we kept our eyes focused on Ai-chan the entire time.
**************************************************************************************************
I tried to keep my mind off of the entire vampire thing. Even though those two girls were my trainers, it's...impossible. I noticed Eri sitting in the middle of the park. She was with another girl, Michishige Sayumi. I walked over to the two girls, but I started sniffing like a dog. Why am I doing this? I'm not a dog!

This is a different scent, and I could smell it the more I get closer to the two girls. It was a strong scent. It was making me hungry. "Blood." I whispered as I stopped walking, getting a weird look from Eri and Sayumi.

"Where were you Ai-chan?" Eri asked me with concern. I bit my lip, but I pierced my lips with my own teeth. Am I growing fangs? "My mom wanted me to go shopping Eri-chan, I'm sorry." That was a complete lie, but I can't tell her I'm a vampire, and I'm transforming right now. "I have to get going now though, I just wanted to let you know." I told her. I needed to get away from this place, and fast.

"Okay then Ai-chan, I understand." Eri waved, and I waved back.
I finally sat down at a tree after running far away from the park. I didn't smell any blood, but I still had my fangs. I noticed my trainers smirking at me.

"Now do you believe us?" Reina's question sounded more like a statement. I nodded, looking at the moon and licking my fangs. Risa gave me another gazed look. She sat down next to me, taking my hand in hers. What is she doing? "C-can we go home?" I asked, shaking a little. Risa helped me up and put her arm around my shoulder, calming me down. My face turned redder and redder at her touch. "Sure." Reina replied, shrugging her shoulders.

However, I could still smell blood all around me, but it wasn't as rich as Eri or Sayumi's blood. I kind of wonder why though.

"I know you're still curious about smelling the blood and all, but we will teach you that tomorrow." Reina told me, giving me a smirk as we walked home. Gosh, she smirks a lot.
"To be honest," I spoke shyly. "I'm really starting to like this vampire thing." Reina and Risa both grinned at each other, then they looked at me.

Still, I have a long way to go.

Rondo (Chapter One: Discovery)

Darkness filled the skies, engulfing brightness that appeared earlier. The day was now turning to night, and the last thing I could do was just stand there sighing and spacing out in the middle of the empty street. I slowly licked my lips as the moon started shining, clouds disappearing.
"Ai-chan?" a voice said my name with concern. I nearly let out my manly scream and turned around to see who this person was. "Y-Yes?" I stuttered, confused. A person in a pure white robe stood in front of me, hair waving in front of her face. Her frown turned into a smirk. "You are the one, Ai-chan." She pointed her finger at me, her smirk turning into a smile. Just what was going on?

"I-I'm the one?" I stammered, my heart throbbing. I was scared now...who is this girl? How does she know my name? The girl let out a laugh and left me standing in the middle of the road. "Wait!" I shouted, but she disappeared. Well that was random.
I looked up at the moon, licking my lips again. It's a very bad habit that I started doing when I was little. I have a lot to think about, that woman is mysterious. I have no idea what I am, but it's probably not good. I started walking, someone stood right in front of me. "Hi Ai-chan!" It was nice hearing my best friend's voice! After all that scariness, I really needed her. "Eri-chan!" I replied, my cheeks turning red. "How long have you been here?" Eri thought for a moment. "Ever since you started walking, and I wanted to scare you." She finally calculated. Poor turtle, you have to love her though.

"So, are you doing anything tomorrow?" Eri asked me, her voice sounding very hyper. I blushed again, should I or not? "I don't think so." I replied, trying not to remember the incident with the woman in the white robe. "Okay good, because I was wondering if you wanted to the watch the clouds and have a picnic tomorrow." Eri really knows me very well, we've been best friends since junior high school. "Alright then, I'll see you tomorrow Eri." I waved goodbye and went to my house.

Emptiness and the cold stares were the only two things I recieved from my parents. "We were worried sick about you Ai-chan!" My father erupted, his eyes filled with rage and fury. "Calm down honey," My mom comforted him, a soft look appeared in her eyes. "Ai..Sweetie..don't ever stay late again, okay?" "Why were you out late anyway?" My father asked me in a calm voice. "Eri and I were planning a picnic tomorrow." I half-lied, hoping they would accept the little lie.
My parents nodded and said I could go to my room. I opened my door and closed it quietly. I got dressed in a red nightgown and got prepared for bed. I need to get my rest so I can go out with Eri on our picnic.
****************************************************************************************************************************
"She's the one." I whispered, my eyes glued to the girl that was about to fall into a deep sleep. She has to be..She is..."Risa?" A voice motioned me to get down from the window. I jumped to where the girl in the white robe was standing. "Yes Reina?" I replied, wondering what was wrong. "We must get back to Yossie and Miki quickly." Reina warned, pulling the robe away from her face. I nodded, knowing that if we were late, Yossie and Miki would remove us from this task.

In no time, the two of us ran as fast as we could to our hideout, which was in a building. I looked around for Yossie and Miki as soon as we got inside. "Do you see them?" I asked Reina, both concern and curiousity filled my voice. "No, not yet." she replied, licking her fangs.

"Ah, Reina and Risa, so is Takahashi Ai the one?" I screamed, turning around. It was Yossie, who was laughing out loud. "I can't believe you fell for that!" Miki exclaimed, laughing even harder. "It's not that funny." Reina said coldly, her eyes filled with coldness. I like it when Reina defends me in front of our bosses. "Anyway, I told her she's the one, just like you said." she explained. "How did she react to that?" Yossie's voice was now serious. "She was confused, then I left it all up to Risa to spy on her." She, Yossie, and Miki gave me demanding looks. "She and her friend Eri are planning a picnic tomorrow, then she went home and went to sleep." I finished.
Yossie and Miki whispered to each other their plans. "It is your job to train her, Tanaka and Niigaki. Do not fail this task." Miki said with a cold tone to her voice. Reina and I nodded and looked at each other.

"Well, do you want to wait until daylight for us to tell Ai-chan what she is?" I asked Reina, not really knowing what to do. Reina's smirk faded into a frown as she stared at me with those cold eyes. She had a blank expression written all over her face, but her eyes say more. "Sure," she replied. "Let's play video games." I shrugged my shoulders as I followed her, playing until daylight arrived.
****************************************************************************************************************************
I woke to the bright sun's rays creeping through my window. I sighed and noticed that I needed to get ready for the picnic with Eri. "I need to get ready!" I reminded myself, my whisper sounding urgent.

But then two girls stood in front of me, licking their fangs and giving me a smirk. One of them looked familiar, the girl was wearing the same pure white robe, but it revealed everything about her. Her eyes nearly scared me as I gulped. I looked at the other girl, who was wearing a black dress with white ruffles at the end. Both girls had long nails and piercing eyes that nearly scared the crap out of me.

"Ai-chan, we are training you." The girl in the white robe said, giving me a wink. Who are these girls? "Who are you?" I asked without thinking, shaking with fear. The girls laughed, making me regret asking that question. "I'm Niigaki Risa, and this is Tanaka Reina." the girl in the black dress introduced themselves.
"We are vampires Ai-chan, just like you."

EH?!?!?!?!

Oyasumi #15

I didn't care about the rain. I knew I was going to be soaked from head to toe anyway, since I didn't bring an umbrella outside with me. I had to walk away, I didn't feel like talking to anybody right now. If only she were here, she always made me feel better.

I still remember her name, it never wandered away from my mind. "Murakami Megumi." The words escaped from my lips, my hair was soaking wet now. I decided to just keep walking until I saw a girl that was just standing at a stop sign. She looked at me with a shocked look on her face, tears almost forming in her eyes. Is it...who I think it is?

"SAKI! What are you doing out here in the rain?" I could smell her perfume, a heavy strawberry scent. She was holding on to me tight. She let go and gave me a wink. It is her...

"MEGUMI! I could ask the same for you!" I walked over to a sushi shop and stood under the army, taking Megumi's hand and making her stand with me. I found a bench, and the two of us sat there. "How have you been doing?" I asked with a concerned tone in my voice.

"I've been doing fine lately," she replied, her voice sounding a little hyper. "I'm sorry I walked out on you guys." She looked down as she intertwined her fingers with mine. Oh my god, she's holding my hand. I need to stop freaking out. "Yeah, why did you leave?" I asked, remembering when Maimi told me that Megumi had already left. Obviously, I was pissed because I never got to tell her my feelings. And now that I finally get to see her after three years, I'm curious to know why she left Hello! Project and C-ute for good.

Megumi didn't respond. She squeezed my hand tightly, and she started crying. "My parents are strict," she sobbed, wiping her eyes with her free hand. "They don't care about me!" I understood now, I'm really beginning to feel sorry for her.

"I didn't have anyone to talk to, but now that you're here..." Megumi let go of my hand and gave me a necklace that had my name on it. I realized that the necklace she was wearing had her name on it also.

"Thanks Megumi," My voice quivered for a moment. I need to tell her my feelings, before she leaves me again, but I could tell she was about to say something.

"I...had...uh...uh.." I nearly broke out into a sweat. The rain was pouring down even harder. I saw lightning and screamed. "Let's go to my house." I said instead, Megumi's hand was still in mine. She could let go, but I didn't want her to.
***********************************
Once we got to my house, I noticed that nobody was home. There was note from my parents saying that they were going on the cruise for their second honeymoon or whatever. I shrugged my shoulders, this meant I can spend time alone with Megumi.

I closed the door behind me and threw the note away, Megumi was standing in the middle of the foyer. I giggled. "Are you going to sit down?" I asked, pointing to the couch. Megumi's eyes were glued to mine..or was it my lips? I don't know.

All of a sudden, our lips collided and we fell on the couch, my eyes were closed...I didn't know that Megumi liked me back. The kiss was um..wow, I can't even explain it.

"I missed you Saki, I didn't want to leave you." Megumi admitted, getting off of me. Why did she stop right there? "Um..I wanted to tell you my feelings Megumi," I sat up on the couch, getting ready to tell her the truth. "I missed you too, and...I..."

"I love you too," Megumi started laughing. "Why did you think I kissed you?" I noticed Megumi checking the time on her watch. Her eyes were big, and she gave me a kiss on the cheek. "You have to leave, don't you?"

"Yeah," Megumi replied nervously. "Can you walk with me to my house?" I nodded silently. I really didn't want Megumi to get hurt again. "I'm going to protect you Megumi, okay?" I asked. "Okay." she replied, and we finally got to her house.

Oyasumi #14

S/mileage, the name of our new group. I'm excited, but at the same time, I'm going to miss someone. Someone's who supports me no matter what. It's a possibility that she's not going to be in the group, since it's Konon, Sakitty, and Ayacho, the new leader of S/mileage that is graduating from Eggs. This is going to suck.

"Saho Akari.." A whisper escaped from my lips as I start to cry. I don't want to leave her here with the Eggs! She'll be lonely! I don't want to have to do this to her! I sit down on a bench and cry uncontrollably.

I can't stop crying. Akari's probably not going to be in the group. I want her to graduate with me, so we can perform together other than SCE or as Eggs. I'm really going to miss her.

"Yuukarin? Yuukarin?" I stopped, wiping away my tears. It was her, that familiar voice that I'm going to miss hearing. My voice cracked as I spoke up, "I'm here Akarin." Akari had a concerned and shocked expression, running over to move strands of hair out of my face.

"Yuukarin, are you okay?" Akari asked me, not even giving me time to answer. "You look a mess." I couldn't reply. There was no way I couldn't tell her how I felt about leaving her. I tried to cry, but I couldn't get the tears to flow. "I'm going to miss you Akarin." I whispered in her ear.
"Tsunku is going to pick someone else....you do know that, right Yuuka?" My body tensed up at what Akari just told me. I knew that, but what if she wasn't in it? "But still, what if you weren't picked?" Akari smiled at me, giggling.

"You know I would go with you to all of the concerts Yuuka." That was true. Akari is always there for me, no matter what. Just hearing her voice always made me laugh.
"Do you want to go get some ice cream?" I asked, feeling better, but I wanted to chat with Akari some more. "Sure." she replied, and we went to the ice cream shop.
*************************
The two of us sat down as we ate our ice cream. I got chocolate, while Akari got vanilla. We would always do these types of things together. However, I like it, and she likes it.

"So, how's Kanon and Ayacho doing?" Akari asked, licking her ice cream. I took a deep breath before replying. "Well, Ayacho is leader of S/mileage now, and Konon's doing very well." I nodded my head. Akari started laughing. I guess she was picturing Ayacho saying something funny...I guess.

"I'm happy for her. She's going to be a good leader." Akari said in between giggles. Then there was a silent aura. "Although I really do wish you were leader." I nearly choked on my ice cream cone.

"W-what did you just say?" I asked awkwardly, shifting in my seat a little. "I said, I really wish you were leader." She gave me a confused look.

"Oh, okay then." I knew that I was leader of SCE, but there was no way I could be leader of S/mileage. Ayacho deserved it.

"I love you, Yuukarin...." I could hear Akari blurt out. EHH?! I was a little confused at what she was trying to say. "I love you too Akarin, you know that." I replied, getting up to go throw my napkins away. Akari had already finished her ice cream way before me, so I finished last. I turned around to find her face close to mine.

She gave me a quick peck on the cheek and whispered, "Goodbye".

Which still leaves me confused until this day.

Oyasumi #13

It was another boring day here at school. Thank goodness it was a new semester. I also heard we were having a new student, which was okay with me. I get to show them around the school just to skip class.

"Are you Yajima Maimi?" A short, dark-haired girl questioned, giving me a puzzled look. I was gazing into her dark brown eyes, a little warmth from them. My heart felt like it was throbbing now.

"Yes," I replied, my ears turning red. "What is your name?" Shimizu Saki. Duh, it says it right on her nametag. Oh well, I want to hear her say it since she pronounced my name beautifully.
"Shimizu Saki," Saki replied, bowing. "It is very nice to meet you Maimi, you have a pretty name." I blushed when I heard her say it again. I must reply back.

"S-Saki is a..uh..pretty name too." I stammered, trying not to break out in a sweat. My hands were clammy, my mouth was dry, and my skin was all prickly with goosebumps.

"I think we should start with the classrooms first, so let's go." I gave her a tutorial around the classrooms before going to the gymnasium.
*****************************************
"As you can tell, this is the GYM!" I shouted, my voice echoing in the silent, gigantic room. Everybody who had gym this period had to go outside for the day. I moved back so that Saki could walk around the room, but our hands touched, and she held onto it.

"Saki, what are you-" Saki looked like she wanted me to walk with her, so I did. I blushed as we were walking, and she could tell.

"What do you like about me...Maimi?" Saki immediately asked, covering her mouth with her free hand. We were still holding hands.

"Well, you're gorgeous." I reply, taking a strand of hair from her face. She giggles and she blushes. "What do you like about me?"

Saki looked down at my legs, and then she looked up at me. "Those lovely legs of yours, and your smile." I laughed, every girl who has a crush on me says that all the time. But now I have an odd feeling of finding a closet and having an intense makeout with her. I was shaking at the thought.

"What? It's tru-" I cut her off, giving her a quick peck on the lips. All of a sudden, she kissed me back.

That was it. I need to find a closet, now. "We have to get out of here." I was breathing hard, taking Saki's hand and went to the nearest closet in the hallway. I found one, and we made out there until the bell rang.
*************************
Afterwards, Saki and I came out of the closet as fast as possible, closing the door behind us. I can't believe we did that. I found Nakajima Saki, or Nakky, walking alone with Okai Chisato, her girlfriend. "Hey you two, what's up?" I asked them with a smirk.

"We know what you did in that closet Maimi..." Suzuki Airi, the girl who knows me very well, said as she looked at me with a puzzled look.

"Making out with the new girl Saki." Arihara Kanna smirked as she wrapped her arm around Airi's waist.

"Shame on you." Hagiwara Mai shook her head. I stood alone, blushing.

"So, did she say anything about those legs of yours?" Umeda Erika asked me with that big toothy grin of hers. "Okay, yes Kanna's right," I admitted, my face went back to my original color. "And yes Erika, she said something about my legs. We are officially together."

I turned around and looked at Saki, who was waving at me and mouthing, "Let's meet up after school." I nodded, winking at her in return.

"Let's go to class, I don't want to be late." I said as the seven of us headed to the stairs.

Oyasumi #12

She's out there on the track, wanting to reach her goal to be the best on the track team. She's so brave, that's what I like about her. She wants to be the leader of the pack, and I will follow her. But there was one problem.

"Airin!" a cheerful voice behind me shouted, making me jump. I turned around and I glared at the girl, Arihara Kanna. She was dead in 5...4...3..2..1...

"KANNA!" I shouted, my voice echoing. I grabbed onto her shirt, making her stop in her tracks. She turned around and stuck her tongue out.

"So, you're staring at that Yajima Maimi girl again aren't you?" Kanna asked me, giving me a smirk. My face reddened, and I covered my mouth, trying not to scream.

"No I'm not," I started speaking in a matter-of-fact tone. "It's called entertainment." I was definitely lying, I knew Kanna was going to make another comment.

"Yeah, the entertainment of staring at her long legs." She started laughing. That's Kanna, always making those weird comments. I blushed even harder.

My eyes were directed towards the track, I was scanning the crowd until I spotted Maimi...with another girl. Her name was Erika Umeda, her girlfriend. My heart starts to sink every time I see her...I want to punch her, but I'm kind of scared.

"Uh oh, they're fighting again.." Okai Chisato, one of Erika's friends whispered, putting her arm around Nakajima Saki's shoulders. "I wonder what's going to happen." Saki replied, shaking with fear.

Hagiwara Mai was also with Chisato and Saki, watching the couple fight. "I heard she likes Suzuki Airi." she murmured. I froze in shock, staring at Maimi. Wow, Erika must have made her pissed.

"It's over." she muttered under her breath to the girls. The girls' eyes were darted towards me, giving me a mean look. "What?" I shrug my shoulders, pretending not to care. But I really did care. Maimi looked so upset.

"Listen Airi, you have to go talk to her." Kanna demanded, pointing to where Maimi was going.
"But..." I started to say, but Erika interrupted me, "Just do it." she said through gritted teeth.
*********************************
I ran to the locker room, that's where Maimi was at least. She had to be in here. I checked the rows, but she wasn't in there.

It wasn't until I was pinned to the wall and I could feel somebody's lips pressed onto mine for a quick second. I looked up. It was Maimi.

"Maimi..." I whispered, heat crept up to my cheeks again...Why did she have to break it?
"I broke up with Erika." she blurted, staring at the ceiling. There was silence in the locker room, I don't know how long.

"Why?" I finally managed to let out a whisper. I can't believe I asked that question..Wow I'm stupid.

"I'm in love with you Airi.." Maimi's hands ran through my hair. "I can never stop thinking of you..." Say something Airi, this is your chance to tell her you love her! I took a big gulp before saying something."I love you too Maimi." I replied, kissing her back.

"Let's get out of here." Maimi grabbed her jacket and put it on, I blushed even deeper.
"Why are you blushing so much?" she asked me. I gave her a quick peck on the lips.

"Because I can. Race you to my house?" I reply, giving her a wink.

"Yes, Ready! Set! Go!" she replied once we got to the entrance of the school.

And we ran to my house.

Oyasumi #11

There she is. Sugaya Risako, walking in the classroom, her brown orbs glistening at me. The more I think about her, the more my heart goes doki doki. I could feel the heat rise in my cheeks as she comes towards my direction. I pretend to write on a piece of paper so she wouldn't catch me staring at her, but it was too late.

"Yurina, why are you writing on the desk?" she asks, taking my pencil and erasing all the pencil marks I made on the table. I gulp. I didn't know what to say to her.

"You have pretty nails." I blurt out. Stupid, stupid, stupid Yurina. She got her nails done three weeks ago! That's all you can say to the girl you're in love with?

Risako's eyes are glistening again, and she giggles. She has such a cute laugh. It made me wonder what was so funny. Oh yeah.

"You're hilarious Yurina," she whispers softly. "Can you meet me at the entrance of the school?" I tingle all over, nodding at her request. "Good!" she perked up and went to go sit in her seat, which was in the very back. Kami-sama, please let this class not be boring.

The tardy bell rings, and Tsugunaga Momoko, Shimizu Saki, and Natsuyaki Miyabi run inside class like maniacs. Saki and Miyabi's hair and clothes were messed up. I look at Momoko, who sat right next to me, breathing, more like panting really hard. She held on to my arm for support as she leaned into to whisper something to me.

"I...saw..." She coughed. Poor girl. I was curious to know though as I gave her a concerned look. The girl's eyes were humungous!

"Miya..and...Saki...making out..." It was my turned to be shocked. I looked over at the two of them, and they looked like they were going to beat me up if I told anybody. I shook my head and kept my mouth shut.

"Class, today we are learning surface area." the teacher mumbled, writing on the board. Well, I couldn't keep my mouth shut for that long due to groaning.

"Come on..." Sudou Maasa murmured under her breath, taking out a pen and a pencil.

"Yes." Tokunaga Chinami whispered, already prepared.

As for me, I was unprepared. I didn't bring anything at all. I had no choice but to ask Momoko, who was staring into space.

"Momochi, can I-"

I noticed someone tapping me on the shoulder. I quickly turned around and noticed that Chinami had a piece of paper in her hand. "It's from Risako." she whispered before allowing me to take the paper.

My eyes were wandering around the back of the room, straining to see Risako's beautiful face. Darn it, Maasa's big head was in the way...oh well I'll see her after school.

Meanwhile, I was about to face the most boring class of the day, and I was drifting in and out of sleep, dreaming of Risako.
********************************************************
Finally, the bell rang. I grabbed my paper, and headed to my locker, which was...a mess? Binders fell out of my locker, creating a mess everywhere. I decided to take my backpack out of my locker and put the binders inside. I sighed, taking out what I need to bring home with me and putting it in my backpack.

"Okay, this should be good." I muttered to myself, closing my locker and heading to my destination: the entrance.

"Yurina," Momoko caught up with me. "Are you doing anything after school?" She asked, sounding genki.

"Actually Risako wants me to meet her, I'm sorry." I replied, trying not to hurt Momoko's feelings.

"It's okay, I understand." Momoko ran to meet up with Ishimura Maiha, our friend who has just returned from her private school.

I was perusing the crowd as one name rang in my mind. 'Risako...Risako...Risako...' As the crowd got smaller and smaller, I still couldn't find her. I decided to walk home until I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. Oh crap.

"Hi." I heard her say. I could tell she was smirking, I knew she was. I felt my face heat up yet again as I still headed towards home. "Where are you going?"

"Home." I replied nervously.

"Can you take me with you?" her question sounded like she was begging. I blush and think for a moment.

"Um...sure?" I hesitated for a moment.

She lets go of me and walks beside me, her smirk changing into a smile. I nearly melted inside.
A silence filled the air for a moment until we got to my house. I took out my key and unlocked the door, letting Risako in first as I closed it. It was a huge house I'm telling you and it was nicely decorated.

Risako sat on the couch. I sat down next to her. Finally, she spoke up.

"Ever since I came to your school, I've always thought you were beautiful." Risako quickly looked down and blushed. She still looks beautiful when she blushes. I giggled in reply.

"I thought so too." I murmur, taking her hand in mine. I couldn't stop staring at those eyes...I was so drawn to them..and I was drawn to her too. I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to kiss her.
Her eyes were shining now as I lean in to taste those lips. I finally got to taste them.

"I love you..." Risako purred in my ear as she kissed me back. I still blushed, but I closed my eyes instead.

All of a sudden, I could hear a vibrating sound. Risako and I stop in our tracks as she opened her backpack and answered it. I could tell that a woman's voice was on the phone. It was her mother.

"Yurina, I have to go..." Dang it, dang it, dang it. Why? Why? Why?

"One last kiss?" I ask, giving Risako a puppy dog look.

She laughed and kissed me on the cheek as she went to the door and unlocked it...somehow...

"Bye Yurina, I'll see you tomorrow!"

"Bye." I waved back, closing and locking the door.

When I got to the living room, I was super genki and happy. "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!"

Untitled (Momusu Fanfic: Chapter Twenty-Seven)

Kago Ai's heart started pounding as she and Nozomi walked to the park. It was a clear and bright sunny day, the perfect weather to be going to the park. Kids were running around, parents chasing after them.

Ai and Nozomi have known each other since junior high. They were shy at first, but then they started getting to know each other, and then Ai started hanging out and joking around with Nozomi.

But then things started to change. Nozomi was always there for Ai whenever she was crying over the phone about her family, and it would cheer her up.

Ai had feelings for Nozomi. She was always there for her, no matter what happened.

Without thinking, Ai held onto Nozomi's arm, the both of them could feel the heat rising to their cheeks.

"Nono..." Ai was about to say, but then Nozomi started running towards the center of the park, making Ai follow her.

Ai loved these kinds of games. She could tackle Nozomi in a heartbeat.

But instead, Ai wrapped her arms around Nozomi's waist, and she didn't let go. Her cheeks were red, but she didn't care.

"Nono," Ai let go of Nozomi and took her hand, their hearts beating faster. "I really, um, have-"

All of a sudden she could feel soft lips pressing on hers, people staring at them, some "Oohs, Ahs, Aw, and Ew."

But Ai could tell that Nozomi didn't care about those people. She didn't care either.

"Nono.."

"I have feelings for you too Aibon," Nozomi whispered, kissing Ai on the cheek.

'What do I do now?' Ai knew she had to think of something, but Nozomi sat down in the grass and unwrapped something.

"What are you doing?" Ai sat down next to her, the grass was still a little wet.

Nozomi gave Ai half of her peanut butter sandwich. "I knew you were hungry so-"

"Thanks Nono." Ai interrupted, eating her half.

"So, did anything happen over at the Kago household?" Nozomi's voice was filled with concern.

"No." Ai replied, shaking her head.

"Good." Nozomi nodded, finishing her slice and looking up at the clear blue sky.
"It's so clear." she said, holding Ai's hand.

"It is," Ai replied. "That's kind of strange."

Ai tried thinking of something to say, but she couldn't. She loved being with Nozomi. Heat was rising in her cheeks.

"You make my day Nono."

Nozomi laughed, her cheeks a little red. 'Was it something I said?' Ai thought, a little embarrassed.

"You make my day too Aibon."

All of a sudden, Nozomi's cellphone rang. She got a text message.

"We should get home Aibon."

And the two girls left the park, hand-in-hand

Tsuji Nozomi walked the long way to Ai's house. She thought of going to the park, where she and Ai can talk, relax, and play funny pranks on each other. Although they were known as the 'funny couple', Nozomi still hasn't told Ai her feelings yet, and she needs to tell her when they get to the park.

Nozomi got to Ai's house, fiddling with her thumbs. She stared at the door, then she snapped out of it.

"What are you trying to do Nozomi? Act like Kaorin?" she mumbled under her breath as she rang the doorbell.

"Nozomi! Welcome!" Ai's mother greeted with a smile. Nozomi smiled back, still fiddling with her thumbs.

"Hi Kago-san." Nozomi bowed. "Where's Aibon?"

"Aibon's in her room, sleeping I guess." Ai's mother replied, shrugging her shoulders. Nozomi laughed.

"Okay, thanks." she tiptoed upstairs to Ai's room, slowly opening the door. Her face turned crimson when she saw Ai sleeping peacefully.

'She looks like she's in a deep sleep,' Nozomi thought, thinking of a plan. 'I need to wake her up.'
Suddenly, Nozomi thought of a good idea. To shake her.

"Aibon...." Nozomi shook Ai back and forth, but there was no response coming from the younger girl.

'This is a stupid idea,' Nozomi thought. 'I've been doing this for fifteen minutes now, and she's still not waking up.'

"Aibon..." Nozomi repeated for what seemed to be the billionth time. Ai fell off of the bed. Nozomi's eyes grew big, and she started laughing. Her laughter woke Ai up, who rubbed her head and mumbled some words under her breath.

"Nono! You baka!" Ai shouted, struggling to get up.

"Sorry Aibon, but we need to go to the park." Nozomi held out her hand. Ai took it and a heat went to the girls' cheeks.

"Uh...I'll get dressed now!" Ai grabbed a T-shirt that had random English words and a white skirt. She went to her bathroom.

Nozomi giggled. She's never felt this way, but something about Ai always made her blush. She lie down on Ai's bed, and she looked up at the ceiling.

"Okay Nono, I'm ready." Ai grabbed her purse and put on her white flip flops.

"That was long." Nozomi teased as she slowly stood up from Ai's bed.

"Shut up." Ai smirked in reply, slamming the door in front of Nozomi.

"Hey! Open up!" Nozomi shouted, trying to turn the doorknob, but Ai had control of it. 'Such a little jokester, that's why I like her.'

Ai let go of the doorknob, and Nozomi walked out of Ai's room. She noticed that Ai was downstairs waiting for her. 'Whoa. That was fast.' she thought.

"Let's go," Ai took out her key as the two girls walked out of the house. "I always need a day alone with you."

Untitled (Momusu Fanfic: Chapter Twenty Five)

Sayumi stretched out on her bunny decorated bed. Comfy, soft, and bouncy was perfect as Sayumi fell asleep.

Suddenly, her cellphone started ringing to "Shouganai Yume Oibito". 'Who could it be now.' Sayumi thought, grabbing the phone and looking at the caller ID.

"Moshi Moshi?" she answered with a cute voice.

"Hi Sayu-Pinku." Sayumi could tell it was Koharu, but her voice sounded groggy.

"Hey Koha-Pinku," Sayumi was concerned. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing really," Koharu replied, her voice a little cheerful. "I want you to come to the dinner show with me."

Sayumi looked down at her PJs. "Um..I don't know.."

"Please?" Koharu interrupted her. Sayumi hesitated before replying.

"Um...okay sure."

"Okay, we'll pick you up in fifteen minutes!" Koharu's voice was cheerful.

Sayumi ran to her closet to get her black dress. She put it on and ran to go get her accessories, which were pearls. She picked out some black heels and focused on her hair.

It took five minutes for Sayumi to fix her hair. It was either down or in an updo, but she couldn't chose.

"Why does this have to be so hard?" she whined, staring at herself in the mirror. She decided to keep it down and she grabbed her purse.

"I'm leaving Mom!" she shouted as she opened the door, and walked to the driveway.
There was Koharu, standing outside the car door.

"Koha-" Sayumi was interrupted by Koharu pulling her close.

"I need to tell you something once we get to the show." she whispered, opening the door.
Sayumi nodded and got in the car. Koharu got in on the other side.

The two girls chatted about their day in school during the ride to the dinner show.
****************************
The girls walked inside the huge ballroom and decided to sit at a table far away from where Koharu's parents were sitting.

Koharu's mother gave the two of them a wink before leaving them alone. Sayumi was confused.

"Uh...Koharu, what's up with your mother?"

"She thinks we should be together again." Koharu replied.

"But we only went out for two months," Sayumi even more confused than before. "Doesn't she know that?"

"She knows," Koharu crossed her arms. "But ever since I told her I liked Aika, she's been saying that I should be with you."

Sayumi shook her head. She and Koharu are just friends. 'Baka parents.' she thought.

"She needs to get over it. And your father." Sayumi said before the show started.
