Rondo (Chapter Seven: Secrets)

I'm so tired. I'm kind of lost. I need to know where I am before I go any further.

"Reina..." a creepy voice whispered from behind me. Oh, I think I know who she is, her voice sounds familiar. "Just come out Aika." I sighed, crossing my arms. "Aw, how did you know it was me?" "Your voice sounds familiar." I replied. "What are you even doing out here anyway?" "I have a new trainer." Aika's face turned red. "Eh? Who?" I wanted to know. "JunJun."

WHAT?!?

"Yeah, that's me." JunJun came out of nowhere. She blushed, trying not to make eye contact with me. Seriously, why does she always pop up in my life? "I know it's you, silly." I tease. Aika giggled, and JunJun looked kind of irritated. "When did you guys start training?" I was sick of asking questions, but dang it, I'm very curious!

"Today," JunJun was obviously confused. "Um..we have to go." "Nice seeing you again Reina!" Aika shouted as JunJun pulled her away from me. I just waved goodbye and decided to move on.

"Oh look, it's Reina." Do I need more visitors? I'm tired already. But this time the voice sounded like Risa. "Reina! Come on, we're all going to the hideout." I turned around and noticed that Ai-chan was with her. "We're taking Ai-chan with us?" I raised my eyebrow. I really didn't know about this. "I know the way, and yes, we're taking her with us."

"Okay, but on the way, don't act like lovebirds." I joked, laughing. "Shut up Reina." the lovebirds said at the same time in a monotone. I started following them to the hideout.

"Yossie and Miki please?" I requested once we got to the front desk. "They're in the office." the young girl replied, sounding a little dry. I didn't pay much attention since Ai-chan was whispering something in my ear.

"Ah, Takahashi, very nice to meet you." Yossie was the first to greet us. "She's very pretty." Miki put her arm around Ai-chan's lower back. It wasn't until she slid her hand down further that I knew what she was doing. My eyes grew big, and I nearly freaked out.

"Don't grope her Miki." I warned. Miki stopped, her glare made me scared at first, but her expression turned from a glare to a smirk. "Always ruining the fun." she muttered under her breath.

"Are you alright?" I whispered in Ai-chan's ear. I could feel her body shiver. She nodded wordlessly. She was probably scarred for life. Well, not for life.

I gave Miki a glare, and turned my attention back to Ai-chan.

Thank goodness Risa saved me. I was about to panic for a moment. Who are these two vampires? "We are Niigaki and Tanaka's bosses," Yossie continued. "It is very nice to meet you." "It is very nice to meet you too." I bowed quickly.

"Anyway, we heard about the first target," Miki stated blantantly. "You did a good job Takahashi." "Um..thank you?" I blurted, my face turning red. "No problem." Yossie smiled. "Now you three leave." Miki pushed us out of the room. I let out my manly scream and held on to Risa for support. Since when was I the clumsy one?

"Do you want to go somewhere else?" I asked, covering my mouth. I didn't want to ask that question. Risa and Reina shrugged their shoulders, and we headed home.

Until we ran into Eri and Sayu.

"Eri, let's go that way!" Sayu tugged on my sleeve, putting her head on my shoulder. It's really embarrassing seeing her like this sometimes. We were eating out at a diner, and we noticed Ai-chan running after some guy who was screaming like a girl.

"Eh? Is that Ai-chan?" Sayu asked, paying attention to the scene. Two girls ran after her. One in some hooded robe thingy, and another in a black dress. Who are they, and what are they doing with Ai-chan?

"Yeah, that is her." I replied, paying for the food, and we left the diner as we saw Ai-chan turn a corner, the two girls following close behind. I started running as fast as I could, but the slow bunny behind me was so slow that I grabbed her hand, and took her with me.

"Where did they go?" I asked, out of breath. "She's gone, let's just go back and eat." Sayu was about to go in the opposite direction until we heard a scream. It came from the man, and it sound like it came from the alley.

Right when we saw Ai-chan suck his blood, Sayu was about to scream, but I covered her mouth with my hand. We hid behind a building and we witnessed that scene. Right when Ai-chan left with the two girls, we went to go check on the man.

"He's unconscious." Sayu didn't touch him. I didn't say anything, I was too shocked. "She's a vampire." I shook my head. I can't believe this, it's all a dream. Maybe if I just go to a corner and close my eyes and open them, I would be in my bed.

But it's not a dream, it's reality. "Let's go Eri," Sayu took my hand. "I know what can take you off of your mind." I doubted it, but we went to a clothing store, and I noticed a T-shirt that had a turtle on it. I decided to buy it, and we walked down the sidewalk.

"Hey look, it's Ai-chan." Sayu whispered, her voice full of warning. I didn't want to say anything to her. She's ticking me off.

"Ai-chan." I greeted loudly. "How are you?" Her face was crimson. "Fine, how about you?" "Liar!" Sayu blurted. I hit her playfully on the arm. "I know you're a vampire Ai-chan."

"WHAT?" Ai-chan fake laughed. I could tell it was obvious. "Don't lie to us, we saw you." Sayu crossed her arms. "We're not going to tell anyone Ai-chan." I promised.

Ai-chan was speechless, and she ran away. "Oh crap, she left." Sayu pouted.

She's a mysterious girl, and I want to know more about her, especially the vampire part.
