My Vengeful Savior-.03-Starry Eyed

.03///Starry-Eyed

4 years later...

Hyoyeon opened her eyes as pain creeped in her head, causing her to have a headache. The sounds of metal clashing against metal and the eruption of shouts could be heard outside, and Hyoyeon was getting sick of it, literally.

"Oh Hyoyeon~"

Great, more chaos ensues.

She glared at her master, who was unfazed and still smirking. Suddenly, her expression turned cold. "Daddy wants to see you."

What does he want?

Every single time she saw Master Jung, she thought of the time when he killed her parents. That bloody knife in his hand, his disgustingly adorable voice, and his wicked smile symbolized evil.

Hyoyeon nodded and left the room, going to the other side of the palace, which was where Master Jung's office was located. As she took a stroll inside the gigantic palace, the headache worsened once she heard the clinking of metal.

She finally stood outside the door, but she hesitated before knocking. "Come in," Master Jung's voice rang.

Okay, I can do this.

Hyoyeon opened the door, stepping in the room. Master Jung smiled and welcomed Hyoyeon.

"Hyoyeon, there is something important I have to tell you."

Well, this is different.
=============================================
This is the most difficult thing I've ever had to do as a knight.

Sooyoung looked up at the large palace in front of her. She and the other knights were going to invade this place.

Two knights approached Sooyoung, their swords out and ready to fight. Sooyoung narrowed her eyes and whipped out her sword from behind. One knight made the first move on Sooyoung, but she blocked herself with both her shield and sword. There was no way she could take on two knights, not now. She had one goal to do.

Two other knights fought alongside Sooyoung. One of them gave her a look for her to carry on with their plan. Sooyoung nodded and, along with the five other knights, barged into the palace.

Servants and slaves stared at them, their mouths agape and running all over the place.

Sooyoung and the knights split up into various sections of the palace, the enemy's knights popping up out of nowhere. Sooyoung was thankful she had prepared herself earlier.

She punctured the knight in the heart, pulling out the sword from his blood-stained chest. "Aish, my sword's covered in blood." she muttered, putting her sword in its case and walking down the long hall with another knight following her.

"Soo, I see something." the knight said, pointing at an object. "Ah, really?" Sooyoung replied in her deep voice, looking at the object.

JESSICA.

Sooyoung paused and looked at the nameplate on the door frame.

She must be Jung's daughter.

She turned the doorknob, which wouldn't budge. Sooyoung sighed as she stepped back and kicked the door.

She noticed two girls. One had an icy expression and gripping onto the other girl, who seemed to be a slave.

"You're coming with us," the leader growled, grabbing Jessica's arm. "Soo, get the slave."

Sooyoung looked at him, confused. "But, sir, this is not what we had planned."

The leader gave her a look, and Sooyoung gulped. "Yes sir." she obliged and grabbed the slave's wrist, who winced. She looked down and realized it was covered in bruises.

This is terrible...who would do such a thing?

She wrapped the slave's arm around her shoulder. "Now listen to me," she directed. "We're going to get you out of here. All you have to do is run." The slave nodded, a smile brightening her features.

She's such a beautiful girl, she doesn't deserve to be in such a terrible environment.

They ran, following the leader. Sooyoung took a shortcut outside of the palace to avoid the chaotic mess outside. The leader also took a different shortcut as well.

The duo reached the village, the leader and Jessica following after them. She carefully removed Hyoyeon's arm from her shoulder.

"Soo, I need you to take her with you and your friends." The leader ordered, bringing the icy girl towards Sooyoung. "Okay, sir." she replied, grabbing her by the wrist.

"Take care of the captives during our battle, okay?" "Yes sir," Sooyoung smiled and gave a thumbs up. "I will." The leader sped off towards the region.

"Why the hell are we here?" Jessica snapped. Sooyoung ignored her question; she was definitely keeping the slave. "You'll be staying with one of my friends." she stated, knocking on the door.

"Sooyoung, back so soon?" Yuri raised an eyebrow as she answered the door. "Yuri, this is Jessica." Sooyoung introduced. "We captured her and the slave...uh, what's your name?" She looked at the slave.

"Her name is Hyoyeon," Jessica replied with a scoff. "She's mute, so she can't speak. How pathetic."

Hyoyeon bit her lip, and Sooyoung turned to glare at Jessica. "Anyway," she refrained from yelling at the girl. "She'll be staying with you and Yoong for a while."

Yuri smiled. "I'm fine with that."

Good.

"Thanks, Yul." Sooyoung gave a sheepish smile. "No problem." Yuri welcomed the icy girl into the home and closed the door.

Meanwhile, Sooyoung took Hyoyeon to her own small home, which wasn't too far from Yuri and Yoona's. She entered the house and let Hyoyeon enter first, who was amazed.

"Please sit." Sooyoung directed, and Hyoyeon obeyed. "Give me your hand," Hyoyeon looked at her, still afraid. "Don't worry, I'm not going to harm you." Sooyoung smiled, taking Hyoyeon's hand.

"I'm here to save you."
