New Divide-Prologue

Prologue.

"Taeyeon, I'm sorry, but I must resign." The girl muttered, fumbling with her hands. The woman stared at her, stiff and deep in thought. She didn't understand why the well-trained assassin would fail her mission so quickly. Instead of yelling at her, Taeyeon decided to let the girl exit.

"It was nice working with you." Taeyeon reached out her hand, and the girl shook it and bowed. "I apologize." she repeated. The girl turned around to leave the room as Taeyeon took out a silver revolver as she pointed it at the girl's lower back.

'I'm sorry' doesn't cut it.

Click.

Boom.

Those two sounds was pure entertainment for Taeyeon. Her slender fingers caressed the shiny silver revolver as she pulled the trigger the second time. The metallic bullet aimed for the girl's upper back. Once it had hit both destinations, the young girl kneeled over in pain.

Taeyeon's lips were taut and pale in a thin line. Placing the revolver on her desk, she looked at one of her servants who had witnessed the scene through the cracked door. She walked over to the corpse.
"That's what you get for giving up." she warned. "Take her someplace where no one will find her." she demanded. The man nodded, picking up the corpse as he left the room.

A taller, dark-skinned woman entered the room. She was unfazed as she saw Taeyeon's revolver. "Yuri..." Taeyeon greeted, discarding the revolver. "I have a mission for you."
Kwon Yuri never failed Taeyeon's missions. She enjoyed killing as much as Taeyeon, which was the reason why she was here in the first place.
"It's about time," Yuri replied, a devilish smile played on her lips. "Who's the target?"

"Her name is Tiffany Hwang," Taeyeon stated, giving her the file. "Don't disappoint me."

"Trust me," Yuri stood up. "I won't."

She left the room, satisfied with her new mission as she searched through her target's profile.

This is going to be easy...

However, she didn't know that this would be a difficult mission.
